@@aymanhariri2288 You are absolutely correct, you would need a cutter. Does that change the fact that it's completely unnecessary? Also, you increase your chances of cutting something you shouldn't (since you have to do it so many times). Would you personally do this?
@@frankjackson655 its not an excuse for you not being able to manage cables properly, any well built pc will have cables held in place with zip ties its necessary for a clean build also no, we wont cut something thats not meant to be cut as we have eyes and know the difference between plastic and rubber. You cant manage cables properly or you are just lazy
Thank you someone in the comments, realizing what’s up and the best part is you could probably find an Rx 6700xt or non XT for cheaper and I would go with the ryzen 5600x to not bottlenecked the graphics card as much
I'm using the 3060 12gb and it plays smooth as butter, can't say much about the ti tho i know that it performs better but having only 8gb of vram comes back to bite you in super demanding AAA games
what's so funny tho, have you experienced it? it clearly says in the title budget 1440P, and if you're in my country you can have this exact same build for about $780 US or less, (I helped to build the same exact rig for my friend for exactly $721) but all the parts took a few weeks to arrive because it was purchased on different markets depending on discounts. It gets more than 60fps in GTA and warzone at 1440p
Having the RTX 3060ti with a 1440p to me is one of the best options i picked and it does really does avg 60-100FPS depending on the Title but that bring said. Its the Budget king 👑
I was unlucky having serious driver issues with any AMD card I've had. I know there are people using them without any problems, including some of my friends but I'm pretty sure I won't buy any AMD gpu for a few years.
@@GinsengStrip-wt8bl good info to know. I have been studying up on components and building to put my first pc together. So I'm not the most experienced. Not that Nvidia is bad(it's good) but amd is a little more in my price range. I'm just looking for a middle of the road gaming rig/entertainment rig. I will keep an eye out for those before mentioned driver issues. Thanks
@@AZRGaming1That's just because it's Fortnite. Tbh, I also only play old/ not demanding games, that's why I "only" have a gtx 1080 (upgraded from a rx 580)
Yeah for real I am actually starting to understand them more easily like I know most of the components and fixed some things in my pc to make it more better
bro he put 6 fucking rgb fans for a system that would do perfectly well with 2+1 what do you expect. I swear so many RU-vid pc builders have no fucking clue what a budget build actually is. furthermore adding budget next to nvidia should be a capital offense
In my country (Philippines), RTX 3060 Ti costs 500 dollars. The RX 7700 XT is just 60 dollars more while the RX 6700 XT is the same price as the RTX card and sometimes less than 10-20 bucks. So I don't see a reason to buy the RTX 3060 Ti. If anything, I'll spend 150 dollars less and grab either an RTX 3060 12GB or an RX 7600.
Don't need 6 fans, drop 1 from the front bottom, lower other 2 to perfectly fit the top of the psu shroud and up. Remove front top fan, leave rear and rear top. Run the exhaust a few hundred rpm below the intakes. Save money on those 2 fans too.
1440p is really controversial here. Without any base benchmarks, it's really hard to call it a gaming PC at 1400p resolution before dropping the graphics settings down to low/medium details.
3060 Ti IS a budget card... just get used to it, GPUs are expensive... look at a RX 7900 XTX or a RTX 4080 or 4090 price and then you will admit that the 3060 Ti is a budget card...
@@Galaxy-oy4njnah, we shouldn't have to sit there and take these price hikes, nothing budget about 400 bucks. That's mid range card pricing. We suck it up and pay these prices anyways, they'll (NVIDIA) eventually want more, and we've been giving them more the past few years and they just keep raising prices from gen to gen. Because they know they'll get away with it.
@@pwnomega4562 If you want a true "budget" build then go onto some marketplace and buy used 6 year old parts. That is also a viable way of doing that. You aint building modern gaming PCs for cheap. Sure if all you do is play Roblox and Minecraft, an old graphics card and CPU will do just fine. In fact you can play those with integrated graphics. However, if you want to play new AAA games on an old system that was not considered top notch in its time, then good luck.
Not for the price. Should've picked the 3060 12gb instead. If down the line the owner decides to learn overclocking gpus , this is the right start. You can't overclock a vram , that 8gb cripples it.
6700xt is a better option than what was used in this video hands down... if you care about ray tracing performance you are better off in a higher price tier anyway.
@@ShvrazThat goes to show how little people care about the 3060ti. Unlike the 3060 where in my place it's always out of stock recently. Whole 3060ti lying in the shelf
@@Riptide2kThat's because Warzone 2 isn't really that graphically demanding. Try running literally any AAA game on ultra settings at 1440p, no DLSS, and see how well it performs.
Yea I agree, that’s why I mentioned it as a NVIDIA option, as some people prefer it. We have a RX 6700 XT Pre-Built which is one of my personal favourites for its Price to Performance
I am going to build this PC for my fiancé. She’s not into gaming to much, I know she’s been wanting one, but if I build her this I am sure she would give it a shot.
Don’t buy from these guys, make you’re own and you can upgrade to 4070 ti super and a AM5 chipset for the same price, looking at 2x performance for cheaper
Happy to see this, my current prebuilt has a ryzen 5 3500, and I upgraded to a 4060, considering a 5600 is the best cpu my mobo supports, I think Ill pick one up, then later down the line build a higher spec pc
@@truphot1 yeah I was just telling him to consider you dumb nvidia fanboy if he wants a better gpu for the price of the 4070 ti he could get a 3090 2 times more vram so more future proof and the 7800 xt has better performance and is cheaper
@@tomato3280 what’s your point? Age and semantics don’t matter here. The fact still remains that this mid range card won’t deliver satisfactory performance for most modern games in 2k and the benchmarks show
My man the 3060ti isn't a 1440p card at all, you are better off getting an arc a770 with 16gigs of vram and better performance for less money then a 3060ti.
@@Schokodonut95 bro cant spell minimum correctly also in what planet do you live? are you playing unoptimized games like always since 99% of these games are unoptimized anyway???
My pc : Ryzen 7 5700x + RX 6900XT in 1440p(ultra presets, fsr off) Dying Light 2 - 130-180fps(rtx off) Hogwarts Legacy- 60-90fps(rtx off), 18-50fps(rtx on) Days Gone - 120-140fps(rtx off) The lust of us - 70-120fps(rtx off) Fps is not accurate 3060ti for 1440p - trash
You also have a $225 cpu and a $500 vCard. Those alone are more than an entire build (used 3060ti) with the components listed in the video. Also your rtx numbers are low because of your 6900xt. I have the same cpu with a used 3080ti FE ($550) and can get 100 frames full ultra raytraced 1440p on hogwarts legacy with 30fps 1% lows or around 60% all of that on cyberpunk while dashing around
It is. I have one and it works perfectly and it reaches safe temperatures when in 100% usages. Budget CPUs don't need more than a stock cooler nowadays.
I am sorry but in what universe? It was a stretch to call it a 1440p card when it was released, it most certainly isn't one in modern games, even the 3060 Ti is a bit of a stretch.
The thing i love of budget building is the misconception of people forgetting all parts are temporary. crazy right? how people with jobs were manage to buy a pc then upgrades.
the extensive use of zip ties is a problem when you have to replace a fan or worse, the power supply. the back side of the pc hidden behind a panel is not needed to be OCD neat lol in my opinion. the inside with the window panel just needs to be prefect or near perfect. im going to be trying out an i3 12100f tomorrow for the first time. it is pretty much the same performance for gaming as the R5 5600 but a lot cheaper. at least thats what i have been seeing online. benchmarks videos and such. thanks for sharing this video :)
Unless your going used, am4 is worst. This will cost your buyers way more on the long run. They will need to rebuy a motherboard, ram and CPUs instead of just switching out a new cpu in 5 +years. Cost difference of am5 vs am4 is 100$, in 5 years it will cost them around 1000$ + if they upgrade. And with less performance. The 5600 is a awesome cpu for upgrading existing gaming rigs
Nothing says value like my emulator rig. I got a free office pc from work that has an I5 2400 in it, and I slapped a gtx 1650 super into it that I got for $120 ($87.50 usd). Took one of my 500gb ssd's from my main rig to speed things up, and also upgraded the ram from 4gb to 8gb along with a 430w power supply, which I snagged out of an old system I had that I also paid nothing for. Now I got a beast of an emulator rig for $120.
ive used a ryzen 5600 and msi b550m pro vdh for a good while now. paired with 3060ti i have 0 complaints. never had the issues with wifi that people seem to have, but its pretty rare that i use wifi over ethernet
The specs are really well balanced however in terms of future upgrades you are limiting the user by using am4 however it is meant to be budget 1440p and the 5 5600 is a very good value cpu
Cause a 1060 will be able to run AAAs on 1440 highs!! Lol get some perspective. What do you expect, he’s not making a budget dumpster build he’s making a fine contender for 1440 with room for improvement.
My computer build from 2020 is almost the same: Ryzen 5600x and Zotac 3060 TI. It's still running strong in 2023 and handles 1440 no problem. Raytracing is another story though...
Legit people rant about the lower cards in each series because we always think about the best of the best but all my friends use lower end 30 series cards and all of them have never had a single issue with performance. Plus most people i know came from console so anything is an uograde and they were likely just using a 1080 monitors anyway
Capable of AAA titles at 1440 and 90fps. If you're playing on medium settings, yeah, or High with upscaling. Not saying it is a bad card at all, but for the same money you can get an RX 6800XT, which is damn near equivalent to a 3080TI. Or go a bit cheaper for the RX6800 which is almost a 3080 for $400 new. Ive got a ryzen 5 5600x and an RX6800. It does native 1440p ultra on AAA titles well above 60fps (i use a 75fps monitor, and i rarely see it dip below 75fps). For example Starfield, right after it released before they did a bunch of AMD driver and performance improvements i would drop into the high 60s in buildings with lots of enemies. The main cities would usually be in the high 50s, other than Akila city. Akila City when it loaded in as you went through the bridge tunnel would drop to mid 40s for a couple of seconds, then be up at low to mid 50s. I haven't played since the AMD performance updates for it, so i imagine it would be better now.
No 3060ti is playing 2k res at 120fps in AAA games.. maybe rocket league or minesweeper or solitaire RTX but anything else is going to be 1080p 100fps at its best and cyberpunk 1080p 60fps.
I rock a 3700X with a 3060 Ti and 32 GB of DDR4 RAM in my current rig, and I definitely do not play in 1440p. The 90 FPS you're getting is probably on a bit lower settings with DLSS enabled. At higher settings. big games would chug at 30. Red Dead 2 at high-ultra settings still barely holds 60 FPS at 1080p, at least since last I remember playing it. Still, it's a solid rig, but I wouldn't recommend it for 1440p, as that's more of an Nvidia X070/AMD X700 XT class card thing, and probably would need an 8 core CPU. It's plenty good for 1080p on high though with RT and DLSS.
Funny thing is, if you built this yourself, removed the rgb fans (budget remember, rgb is cosmetic and should come after performance imo), spend the money saved by doing it yourself and not getting rgb, upgrade that gpu to a 4070 ti super. In a prebuilt, it's almost for certain he spent 400 on the 3060 ti alone. for 800, he could've had a 4070 ti super. Between the money spent on rgb and the fee for it being a prebuilt, easily could've afforded a 4070 ti super
