Join me for part 4 of the "Fatty River" project john boat we are working on. We get the boat back from the welder, look at the repairs, talk costs and get a plan for the next step which is prep and paint. We used a road sign to repair the transom and it turned out GREAT!

Man that's all good as you have a great river/creek boat to get to the ducks. I had price shock when my wife took my 16 foot aluminum bass boat to have new carpet installed. I bought the carpet off of Amazon as she wanted to do it herself until she saw what all was involved. She told me she had to make an executive decision on getting it done, but didn't tell me the price she was quoted. I'll put it to you like this, take the welding cost you paid and add a zero to the end. I about fell over as I don't think the entire boat and motor are worth much more than that. Anyway, she uses it on the river and I still do occasionally myself. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to the next installment on this project.

I cant wait to set her a float! Might do a little test run tonight at the lake if the storms pass. I think me and the boys are in for some fun!

Leo’s the man. He made a custom piece for me on my boat that I was having trouble making. I’m hoping he can weld a new transom on my boat like he did yours. I need a road sign! lol

@@that_husseyboy4681 Small world! I was pleased with his work. Everything always costs more than you WANT to pay, but that doesn't mean its not worth it. I will be going back to Leo for sure
