Budget CHOPPER (Cold Steel Trench Hawk) 

Had mine for for a few years and took it to woodland hell and back and it’s still great

I've got the war hawk, same thing basically. Yours looks brand new!

I hooked mine into a tree as i was decending into a river bed. I did it to give myself an easy to reach handle for lowering/ myself into/out of the water bed. It broke right away, just when i needed it. First time that i actually asked something serious of it, and i ended up falling into a river. Thankfully, it was shallow and calm where i was crossing, so i was ok. The handle snapped, and there were a series of holes/channels running through the plastic handle that shouldnt have been there, where the forming process had completely failed. Since then i have head similar stories of the handle breaking on these and there being these holes in the handle weakening it. Were i in a more dangerous situation, i could have been it really bad shape. If i was trusting my life to it,it would have been a bad situation to be in, Thankfully, i just ended up with scrapes, bruises, and a wet arse. Failed at the very first time i asked anything of it.

They really are great. You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a good one. No, it’s probably not the “end all be all” tomahawk but it’s really close in my opinion, especially after you factor in the affordability.

The Trench and the War are bad ass!!!!

the spiky part feels like you would need to be a 100 times more careful lifting up so you dont go missing a eye
