Many thanks to the sponsor of this video Morrison's hand soap for making this project possible. Mega project though, love the different sides of the coach, very clever with the weathering! Great to see more of Lonesome St too (hope that's the correct spelling)
It’s the spelling now! Thanks it is refreshing to give something with an iffy base some attention. Would bloody love that to be fair. Their bourbons are quality
What did you do around the windows to make it look like the paint had gone? Is that just different colour paint or something else? Also the texture you have on the roof is excellent. It looks like peeled paint, how did you do that?
It was just a pale acrylic paint- forgot to video it lol! I have seen some GWR designs that had it so reasoned a Midland design would have something similar. But nice and simple just paint on a cocktail stick! If I’m honest i don’t really know. It was like that when I stripped the paint from it initially which gave an uneven surface- I just took some paint off with fine sand paper in random parts! Thanks
@@heaptoncollierymodelrailwa6011 Well I believe you got this coach spot on. I've just bought a couple of the same coaches and I'm going to have a go and see if I can get something simular as a result. You've inspired me, thank you for that my friend.
@@amp9930 Thanks man! Would love to see some pictures when you are working on them! There’s a lot you can do- I’m looking into converting one into a push pull coach!
