Honestly, for 90% of churches/musical worship guitarists, this is such a great option. Cost-effective, sounds great and allows you to focus on the craft and creating space.
I love NUX products. You can buy 2 of the amp academies for the price of 1 Iridium and have money left over for accessories. I wanna try this to create a true stereo rig.
If you're an acoustic leader, experiment with turning the pre-fx and the amp off and set up a patch with an acoustic guitar IR and some delay/verb after. Using an acoustic IR gets rid of the piezo quack, gives some nice EQ, and emulates some extreme high end guitars. Your acoustic will sound like a high end studio mic'd guitar in your mix.
In DRUM & LOOP, press the SPACE key on your keyboard, the Phrase Loop is ready to record, you just play then it will record automatically. Press the SPACE again, it will play from the beginning automatically. Enjoy it.

American Sound is the best pedal I ever bought. But I think you need to add an IR loader for cab simulation too. I actually think that this Nux pedal could become my best ever pedal purchase, if I end up getting one, because most of the time all I want from my live rig is an amp with reverb, nothing more, and this takes care of that in one small pedal.
How unfortunate the Scenes feature doesn't change parameters like Snapshots! I think there's definitely value in this unit as a budget option that. I also learnt today how to pronounce this company..."new-x"!

I have the VIP1flrst and then the SPARK 40 to avoid having pedals all over the floor and I also have a wide versions of pedals to try. Especially they're ALWAYS introducing new pedals to try without buying.
What a nice sounding piece of gear. For worship this would be perfect. Although I do love my Simplifier. Something about it being analog and can change on the fly without an editor. May get something new in the future.
I’m new to this DI thing… soooo bear with me. This will get me directly from guitar to soundboard with no need for an amp??? And it will sound as full and warm as it does on the video???
hello I have rather odd questions, I would like to know that whether amp block could be turned off. So I can use it as a IR pedal with my existing pedals as an alternative use. Did you try it?
They are 2 different species, the Stompman has built in power amp, but no FX at all, it is a mini single channel stomp head with a post boost option for solos. But again , no cabinet emulation or XLR out. The Amp Academy is a modelling multieffect, very similar to an Atomic AmpliFirebox, but has some extra features (but the Nux lacks delay..)
Which is the difference between this and Nux Solid Studio? I will use only on stage. Wich is the correct for me? (I already have solid Studi, but I don't know which of both it's the one for me to have better sound)
