God has given me a passion for training, resourcing, and bringing community to worship leaders whose heart is for the local church.
In order to put action to my passion, I have created a resource called “HeyWorshipLeader” to start a conversation with worship leaders who have a desire to bring greater health to their worship ministries.
This channel is a glimpse into my world as a worship leader. I discuss shepherding a congregation, leading a team, gearing up for the weekend, and performing with excellence.
what's different between Send vs Output on hx stomp? if i connect the loop pedal to hx stomp from hx stomp output to loop pedal input, it works without putting fx loop block?
I've had a couple of Rockboards. They are really nice and I like the mods, but room underneath was always a little cramped for my tastes. Really glad they hooked you up, that's a lot of cool stuff!
I have the big tonex and hx one..Is there a way to use the Hxone pre and post depending on the effect? How can i connect it with the send/ return of the hxone? Cant find a solution...help would be highly appreciated
In a past life, I was a luxury car audio specialist. Thanks for the video. The tip to start your Hi-cut down in the bass, and bring it up until the music sounds natural, is a great tip. However, I wouldn't stop at 3k2. The sweet-spot will be higher than 3k2. I would continue up past 4k, and anywhere up to 7kHz for guitar. For most listeners, 3k2 is muffled.
Perfect timing on finding this video! So I’ve been playing a Helix for close to 7 years in both my church and my cover band, and I do really like the Helix but have been missing playing through an amp. I started down the rabbit hole of maybe I will get an amp again but keep the Helix. Started doing all the research and talk about option overload! What I am realizing is that I don’t love the Helix drives but actually enjoy the amp models. So I think I’m gonna get an HX stomp and create a small board with a couple of drive pedals. Maybe I need to have you set it up? I’ve found using a Powercab Plus makes a huge difference in giving that amp in the room feel.
Click the little triangle and it will take you to the full video where I show you how to set up the HX stomp to control the flux. Otherwise, just long press the right foot switch to make it stop blinking, and it will switch to control the flux.
Bought all your pads for worship this weekend and super pumped to use them live, they sound awesome! Do you have any pedal recommendations for flipping through pages in an app like Music Stand and ALSO triggering pads in an app like Soundboard Studio Pro all on the same iPad? Have you used the AirTurn analog foot switches? Like the BT500S-4?
What about GOD? We praise and worship for the Lord first so I'm confused why there is such pushback..........have fun plugging and playing pedals but worship the Lord.
this is exactly what im doing on my board with other analog pedals. my brain still hurts from trying to figure out my chains and setup. id love if you had a more in depth video
That could resolve the problem of one guitar player switching between electric and acoustic. I assume there might be some acoustic amps or some acoustic IRs.
I am looking for a Freeze pedal and the Line 6 One has that effect but I caanot find a comparison with the EHX freeze. If it is as good as the EHX I would go for the Line 6 since it has much more effects. Do you have a Freeze pedal to compare it? Thanks
Just to let you know in case it happens to you. All the pedals were working on my board and all the sudden quit.... I checked all connections.... tried different cables.... tried different wall outlets....tried 3 different wall wart power supplies on each individual peda.... Tried a brand new isolated power supply..... Guess what? NOTHING!!!! I took everything to my neighbors house and plugged them in individually and they worked.... took them back home and they worked..... it's like it reset everything when I used the power from a different location. That's happened to me twice.... so it's gotta be something in the house wiring.
The reason you can only get 2 additional functions out of the Stomp with a TRS is because one of those parts is always going to be the ground. There's a TRRS jack but the only application I've ever seen them used for are headsets or earbuds with microphones. One part of the plug each for the 2 stereo channels, one for the mic and the last for grounding.
I am assuming this would work with an HX One and an HX Effects as well? I am hoping that I can send Tap from the EX Effects to the HX One and then use the right foot switch on the HX One to control the Flux. Is this possible?
I have the hx effects and I wanna try that out too lol would love to try it with my XL or just take the little thing in my backpack and take it to a gig or jam practice with all the gear provided and you just need a certain effect you're familiar with to bring the jam to a whole other level
Been very happy with the Caline CP-207 for power. it is isolated, quiet, and has enough power to power my TwoNotes CABM and all pedals but my Plethora X3.
I know there was only one pedal on the midi chain. However, when connecting another, turn Midi Clock Tx OFF on any pedal after the first. If not, it will stack the bpm. So in this case, let's say the Stomp is sending 70bpm. If midi Clokc Tx is on on the HX One, it will send 140 bpm to the next pedal. As long as you have midi through on, you're good.
Thx for demoing these. I have been enjoying the hx stomp for little bit now & I use a dual footswitch like you have. 1 question on your video though - did you connect the trs cables left out to right in & right out to left in? Seems like they are crossed.
Sweet!! I've been looking for midi cables that can do this since the one company I've been getting them from stopped making right angle midi cables. And there's a lot of other stuff in this video that's great! Live your videos man.
This is perfect! It allows for the use of both units together or to split them up and use them with other amp pr pedal board setups! I watched a friend of mine using the Eventide with his Stomp live & it made sense to be able to do more & take the load off of the processor but at the same time be able to break them up and use them for other things. It also allows for so much more flexibility between the units! Thanks! I've already sent it to a few people I know who have both units as well.
