I want to thank you for recommending Bar Keepers Friend soft cleanser for brass. I have an old house and all the doors have brass plates and door knobs. I never would keep them shiny because Brasso just didn't do the job. I tried the Bar Keepers Friend and it works like a dream. It's almost instantaneous.

Hey, I am regular viewer of your videos and really like your sense of style. This transformation looks great except the double doors. It now gives an impression that they are two doors, rather one double door. I ll suggest to paint the cenrtal frame in the darker shade, similar to the doors to make an impression on one grand entry rather than two small doors.

Dear Denise. Hope you and all family are well. My compliment for your beautiful home and i find your design excellent. I like those black/white rugs a lot, but her in Denmark we can´t dream about getting this kind of rugs or all accessories your design your home with. If i surf on Amazon i find it kind of expensive. Hopefully, one day, some of the shops your mentioned on your channel will hear our wish to open a branch in Europe :). Meanwhile, stay safe and well. Denise...as always, you have great tips and ideas. TY! I have light beige carpet that always looks clean. We have no kids or pets, wipe our dirty shoes on the front door Matt, and ALWAYS remove our shoes, upon entering. A few guests offer to remove their shoes which is nice, however, others do not give a hoot! How do you ask someone to remove their shoes, without making them feel uncomfortable? PLEASE RESPECT MY HOUSE!

Denise. Once again yet another amazing inspiration. Beautifully done.. I'm so impressed by the carpet tape. May I please ask where I can purchase such tape. Also may I ask do you or your guests wear shoes in your home. just asking. We don't wear shoes in our home. We have a basket next to our door with socks and shoes cover. I also have a, shoe rack but I don't like it. Do you have any suggestions. I don't have a very large entry way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I am also wondering how to tactfully ask guests to remove shoes. I have a boot tray with at least 1 pair of shoes on it by the front door for them to get the hint but that hasn't worked. We don't wear shoes in our home. I have off white carpeting in my living room and hallway. A friend came over for lunch recently and did not remove her shoes. She left a trail of mud in the bathroom, kitchen, in the hallway, and in the living room. She didn't even seem apologetic about making the mess.

Shelby Lynn Williams. Of they are your true friends they respect your policy. Let them know you dont wear shoes in your home. We don't do it because of white carpet It's our Custom. But yes if you have white Carpet. No shoes. Mostly wearing your shoes out and wearing it in your home is filthy. You go to public bathrooms with your shoe. You walk all over with your shoes. You should never wear that same shoes in your home. All of my family has the same custom. None of my friends wear shoes upon entering my home. It all started I had a party. I mention it in my invitation. I do the same when I go to someone's home I take my shoes off I always take a pair of socks. It's just a matter of respect. The person who walk into your home with muddy shoes has no respect. Let your friends and family knows that you do not wear shoes in your home. They would not object if they love and respect you. I have a basket as you enter my home with socks and shoes covers for anyone entering my home. Even if any workmen comes to my home they wear shoes covers. Good luck. I just don't like the shoe shelves. I need a nice cabinet like Denise to place shoes in.
