Beginners deserve a fair shot. Choosing a guitar past the so called "beginner grade", is a step in the right direction. Dude over 60, expresses his opinion on this guitar. Should it be your first.
It sounds good if the person playing it is good imo, the great thing about budget guitars is that they make great platforms to learn about modding if you aren't familiar, and there are tons of extremely affordable upgrades that would make improvements without costing very much
I totally agree. Thank you for commenting. What I find most fascinating is budget guitars are more prone to receive upgrades specifically tailored to the owner. Decades of guitars have passed thru many hands and to be honest nowadays the challengers in the market is not solely the domain of high priced big brand name manufacturers. I have for many years embraced upstart manufacturers making possible the first initial intrigue into the hands of a new enthusiast. I say allow the hands, ears and heart to decide what feels right. In time, a better understanding of all aspects comes into view. Most importantly stick to what you know rather than what people tell you. Thank you so much for commenting and I appreciate the support. I totally understand. For many years I too did not gravitate to Strats at all. After digging deep about how to set up a vintage trem system to stay in tune I finally grew a better respect for the Strat shape. This particular model is what many would call a beginner or first guitar. Once setup, it’s not bad at all and for the price it wont hurt the wallet so much.
