My best laundry room advice is the obvious- use your wall space. You don’t really need to decorate here; you need shelves or a pantry organizer or a pocket shoe organizer. Decor will just get dusty and be unappreciated. I also recommend getting a comfort floor mat (for the kitchen too!) Another thought is to avoid screw on lids for things you use frequently. It takes too much effort and time.
I agree with the screw lids. I had a glass jar with a screw lid for my powder laundry detergent, and it was a pain. I bought a different glass jar with a glass lid, and it's so much better. Our laundry is in the basement, so it's not pretty, but it is organized. I have a table with 3 small laundry baskets on it and I sort one for towels, one for me and one for hubby. I also have a 3 tiered cart in the middle of the washer and dryer with supplies. It works out great.
I absolutely agree and will add another container tip. Check your products before decanting into clear containers. Many laundry products contain ingredients that will breakdown when exposed to light which will reduce efficacy. Think bleach, oxygen beach, oxi clean products.
I use Command hooks on the inside cupboard doors. I hang anything that I can, rags, rubber gloves, dusting wands, razor blade scrapers. It saves a lot of room, especially for odd shaped things that don’t fit well in the cupboard. 🌺
Love this! White cabinets, white bins and simple labels give this such a clean, calm and organized look. I can imagine you no longer dread stepping into this space. The Dollar Store buys kept this budget friendly. Well done!
You truly motivated me. I bought dollar tree bins awhile ago and haven't started. I don't have cabinets only wire shelves but organizing will make it look nice. Love your style. I'm 70 now and wish I did this organizing earlier in my life -- but its never too late.
I like having pictures on the wall, rugs, greenery if possible, in my laundry. Love have a comfortable stool and folding table. It is essential to make a space that is so utilitarian to be welcoming.
Returned my sons bedroom when he moved out into my laundry room. Oh my goodness I love it so much. Makes you want to do laundry in a pretty laundry room.❤

I absolutely love dollar tree organization options! Mine doesn't always have the most options, but I love finding new items to use. Your laundry room looks amazing.
I love the idea of taking the label off of products so you can see what you have and how much is left. I never thought of placing your bins differently so you can tell they are empty. I have mine set the same as those filled and constantly pull them out to see what's in there only to find them empty. After watching your video, I went into my laundry room and changed them. Thanks for the tip!!

Boy, this video couldn't have come at a better time! After a massive storm here in Michigan, I am dealing with water in my basement! Needless to say, its a mess. It has forced me to go through absolutely EVERYTHING and I have been brutal about getting rid of things that no longer serve me! I'm in organizing mode with every single space in my basement now! I will be heading to Dollar tree to see what I can find!

I love how you kept everything simple and clean. I know you said you would like to makeover the entire room but sometimes you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a space organized and usable and you definitely showed that here.
We used black metal piping to hang out clothes in in the laundry room. It's so sturdy. We also have a small wooden table that holds 3 baskets. We use it for sorting laundry and folding laundry. You seem to have a lot of cleaning tools to the left of your washer and dryer. Maybe make a station for all your gizmos and gadgets. Everything looks awesome.
I really like the containers you used. I think getting that organized will make it easier for you when you go to remodel the laundry area. It looks nice.

My last home project was a laundry room redo. It’s now my favorite room in the house. Crazy wild wall paper, a new base cabinet , finally a sink and we were able to use the last of our quartzite. It’s vey girly and fun.
I enjoy going to Dollar Tree to find all the different containers they have. I have bought many of them for different areas in the home. Those round baskets I have found to be real handy in the garage. 😊
It all looks really nice. I love Dollar Tree because you can do a lot of thing cheaply so if you get tired of it you can then switch it out. 🤓 You did a great job.
