Pajero mini is not no joke. My brother has one and it absolutely rips. It also does 12 lbs boost 😀 Have you ever had a gear grinding issue from 1st to 2nd? This happens to me often, and I’m always trying to adjust the shift path to try to avoid it…sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t. I changed out the gear oil to Royal Purple 75-140 in hopes that the too-high viscosity might make a better wedge against the gears….it worked for a day but it’s grinding again. The garage near me that works on these days the grinding is normal, but I don’t really buy that. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Happy New Year as well!
I installed a similar lift. I did cam bolts top and bottom for the positive camber fix. Turned out perfect. General grabber atx’s 205/75/15 are all that will fit with 1” spacers. No rub. Let me know if you want pics. I have alignment specs if needed.
Sounds awesome that’s exactly what I needed! Unfortunately I sold my minis to move into the Toyota prado. I will be back in one soonish once I finish up some of these projects o have going on.
I was almost about to import one of these then you mentioned the prices for parts... I think I'll import a Suzuki Jimny instead since they share samurai parts. Hahaha.
Hi Mike, Do you have a link for the spacers you used please. Have one myself hoping to lift it and fit a winch soon. I have put a set of insa turbo special track tyres on it and it is going through anything it’s pointed at!!
I’ll try to find a link, since this is an old video I’ll tell you a little surprise I have another pajero mini turbo on the way! So I’ll be back making videos and modding it. I plan on really digging into this one and finding out how far we can take these little engines. Also plan on doing the mini monster truck lift setup with big tires!
I will be following this for sure, winch set up, lift kit and maybe and inner roll cage are all on the list for me so it would be great to have some inspiration.
I buy alot of parts in Japan and have them sent over. I get 1-2 big box’s a month if you need something specific I can prob help heavy things like brakes get expensive shipping wise but I can get them
