Love the *real* commentary on these videos, really appreciate that you leave in content that shows actual struggles / challenges of the build and not just glam footage. Missing bolts, changing your mind about threadlocker, etc. I'm sure it attracts hater / trolls, but I find it to be a huge reason I keep watching your content! Super authentic man, keep it up :)
I'm really excited about the miata's sort of "rebirth". I kinda have this idea of the miata as an underdog. I really want the miata to stay & slay in the channel. The miata is part of the family. I really want it to be great.✌
Yo @taylordrifts take ur time. ur already farther than most people that work full time. On car builds hell most people i know to do shit right takes a year or 5.. i cant wait to see the finished product when completed wether its this october or 2020 its goin to be rad
I went through four different types of creepers and that was one of them. It has always been the wheels coming off. That creeper is the best for getting under the vehicle, but has a defeat around the bolt area near wheels. I would recommend making metal plates with holes for the wheel bolts to go between the bottom of the creeper and the wheels. And put lock tight on the nuts. Mine ripped the wheel away from the bottom, causing unrepairable damage.
Looking forward to see you giving more love to the truck! Can't wait for the day the truck gets some bodywork and paint! Since it's not going to be drifting, would be great to see you driving a nice and clean truck.😁
Dude the hat is super dad Lol! And just to throw it in there we need a city for the p.o. box. Keep the videos coming they have been super good quality lately keep up the good work!
After you done with the miata project you should start preparing for a house 🏡!!Then all the fun stuff begins!!I don't know why but I feel like lately you are stressed in your videos..😮Anyhow keep up the good work ❤
It's a good idea to use loctite, just because the bolt holes on the crank are threaded all the way threw and oil can possibly leak out of there if you don't use some kind of sealant on the bolts. Also all the bolts on an LS are metric, but I think you know that now lol.
Ace Futura antipode is the direct opposite of something, antipod isn't in the dictionary. It's Saturday in New Zealand so unless you live in the chattem islands or have invented time travel you can't be ahead of me
I see you got that Milwaukee sponsor going on, good for you man! Sick video quality and edits too. Btw, be sure to get new flywheel bolts if you're still going to loctite them (if you actually torqued them down in the first place).
Yo,Taylor, dont you have an option on the camera to focus on a certain point of the screen, instead of focusing on the nearest object ? Might solve the problem with the camera focusing on the wrong stuff
my dad (him 62 me 29) is the king of just grabbing a grinder or whatever and doing shit perfect the first time, I, on the other hand, have to triple check shit I'm doing in the lathe/mill with digital read out or I will mess it up.
Hey man can you do a video on what electric tools you use or recommend. Like what impact you recommend or what's better, if a square 1/2 it better then the hex impact? I've been wanting to buy an impact but idk what route to go and yours seem to work smoothly.
Do you have to match up the 7th flywheel hole(dowel missing)? I noticed it looked like it was 180 out?? Not sure if it makes a difference on that motor or not
Dude thank you for this. I have the gk tech shifter on my 2jz 350z and could not figure out for the life of me why 1,3,5 gears would not engage and why every time I put it in reverse the little brass piece on the shifter would fall under the shift arm and get stuck. My CD009 is from an early track edition z. So I need to add these extra washer you did not instal. If you still have them could you tell me the thickness?
