Nice take on a budget version of the deck. I wonder how it will work without AEther Vial and Thalia, tough. Death & Taxes is the Modern deck I plan to get next in paper. White Weenie is my gem. Happy to see AEther Vial and Horizon Canopy in Iconic Masters, that should bring down their price quite a bit.
That's a personal decission, I guess. I don't get to play a lot too but I want to make a Death & Taxes Deck and I would just not be happy with such a deck without Vials.
I love your budget videos man, I got a couple of my buddies into modern with your budget dredge and budget storm decks. With this deck though, I feel like the power level suffers greatly with no Aether Vial. Obviously its expensive, though it's gone down in price by about 1/4 or so, its around $30 right now. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is pretty sorely missed too. Luckily Horizon Canopy was reprinted in Iconic Masters along with Aether Vial, so Horizon Canopy's steep price has been cut in half, and will most likely continue to decrease as the set is opened more and more. Either way Im excited to watch your mach videos using this deck! Thanks for making great content for newer players and players on a budget!

I play this deck and I would really recommend mirran crusader. It hit for 4 for only 3 mana and it also blocks shadows, gurmag anglers and prime times ect.
Giant really love your videos, as a sort of new player to magic i still struggle with deck building, but i was inspired to create an abzan token list that is doing surprisingly well in the FNM in my LGS, would love if i could get any sort of advice from you
Purple is right. At this time the deck is just not competitive enough. Lets wait for the next set and see if we get some faster dinos. Also then we can look at making a better Casual deck for modern.
