Hi Aaron, Thanks for the question. I still use this monitor to this day but no longer have the Sony A7III (using Sony A7IV instead). As for the monitor output, I personally never experienced an issue where the screen cuts off after pressing the record button (neither on the Sony A7III or Sony A7IV). Though, I remember that on the Sony A7III, there is an HDMI limitation with using both the HDMI external output to the monitor and the camera's LCD screen at the same time. From memory, I believe this can be resolved by disabling the 'HDMI Info. Display' setting on the A7III. Though unfortunately, this means that you will not see your camera's settings on the external monitor (only a clean feed of the picture). Hi World Passport. No, not that I'm aware of. The monitor only displays what is seen through the camera but cannot control the camera (eg. tap to focus). Thanks!
Hi Сергей Ященко, thank you for your kind words. Glad the review helped. I haven't been able to test the monitor's colour accuracy with a colorimeter or anything like that. But at first glance, the colours look rich and accurate to my eyes. Have a look around on RU-vid or videography forums and see if anyone has done a proper test with a colorimeter. Best of luck! :)
Hi Duke, You may have the 'All Wave' setting enabled (shows all the scopes on the screen and your live view on the side). This may be disabled from one of the functions in the quick menu at the bottom of the screen (looks like a heartbeat wave inside a circle). You can see this setting at 2:48 within my video. Hi Carsamendi, thanks for the message. I haven't experienced this issue myself but I feel like the power source that you're using may be causing it. Have you tried another battery? Could the battery terminals be loose causing the power to disconnect? Alternatively, I recommend contacting the Desview team over Messenger on Facebook. They helped me out when I had some inquires about the LUT functionality of this monitor. I hope that helps! Would love to hear what the cause of the problem was, once you figure it out. @@AlejandroUrman_ No sabes lo que me alegro que me hayas contestado Alejandro, ahora te explico un poco en lo que quiero que me ayudes: Yo este monitor lo quiero para fotografia no hago video y aunque por lo que he visto por ahi este tipo de monitor se utiliza mas para video, pero como te comento yo para fotos, quisiera que me guiases un poco sobre los menus a usar para que me puedan servir para mis tomas de fotografia, no me entero mucho lo que tengo que tocar ( la edad no perdona y ya voy para 70 años ) y nada que sea muy complicado, conque lo que Tu veas que me pueda servir para mi sera suficiente, dejo en tus manos la elecion, y nada te doy las gracias por las molestias que te tomas y te mando un abrazo,saludos
@@carsamendi4994 Hola Carsamendi, De nada! Estoy feliz de ayudarte y no es ninguna molestia. En el pasado, te recomendi el uso de las '3x3 Grid Lines' (2:52 en el vídeo), 'Zebra' (2:45 en el vídeo), 'Histogram' (2:46 en el video). Additional a estás, la función de 'Peaking' (2:49 en el vídeo) es muy útil cuando estás usando lentes de camara que no tienen Autofocus. Encendiendo está función te deja fácilmente ver si el principal sujetó de la escena está en focus (representado por el color que elegis). También, es muy útil poder rápidamente ampliar la imagen para chequear que el principal sujetó de la escena esté en focus. Esto se hace usando el gesto de pellizcar en el centro de la pantalla. Espero que esas funciones te ayuden y continua disfrutando la fotografía! :)
Hola Alejandro ya estoy por aqui otra vez, vamos a ir por parte que a mi estas cosas me superan, hoy toca lo de "Cebra" me puedes explicar para que es? yo las pruebas que he hecho es dependiendo el rango que le ponga me salen mas o menos rayas y no se que poner, te pediria Alejandro que te pondrias en mi lugar y ahora estoy con la camara en el tripode que pasos a partir de ahi tengo que dar , como te comente solo lo quiero para fotografia y me gustaria que me indicases paso a paso lo que tengo que hacer, ya me diras algo, gracias y saludos
Hola Carsamendi, La función de 'Zebra' se usa para mirar cuál partes de la escena están sobre expuestas. Esta función activa unas líneas (como la piel de zebra) para mostrarte cual partes de tu escena están sobre expuestas. Si bajas la intensidad de la luz entrando a la camera (por ejemplo, reduciendo el 'ISO' o subiendo la 'Shutter Speed' o subiendo el 'Aperture'), las líneas van a desaparecer. Y esto representa que esas partes de la escena ya no estan sobre expuestas. Por ejemplo, podes usar está función para proteger el cielo de tus imágenes y que no estén sobre expuestas.
