Thanks for the video. I just ordered one of these. I will add that based on advice given to me by a plumber friend, you will want to have some VERY heavy duty gloves (not thin rubber gloves). The line can build up pressure and the torque can release and injure your hands very badly with thin gloves or no gloves. I think they have specialized gloves called "ugly gloves" that are ideal. But at the very least, I'd make sure you're wearing some normal, heavy leather work gloves. Also, you'll probably not want to use those gloves for anything else as they will probably get nasty.

The thing I’ve never understood about these cheaper Chinese drain machines is that the “forward” direction actually spins in reverse compared to name brand machines. The forward direction arrow on the drum should be pointing the other way

Hey my machine on the rotation switch it says CW and CCW which one is the forward position

Rubber gloves = BAD !!!!! they will catch in cable. Probably just tear but bad. Cotton is a big NO NO they will hang up and you will get twisted in machine. Ridgid tools makes leather gloves with metal plates in them or very heavy rubber gloves with rough surface for handling the cable.
