I was in this pattern where I would be able to pay my bills on time but then next month I would fall behind and then that started my pattern of paying on time and then paying late the next month. Recently I started to get back on track on paying all of my bills on time. Still taking one step at a time. Store brands are the same like the name brand. Some people just don't like store brands because supposedly they can taste the difference but I haven't tasted the difference so far.

Hello Jazmine! I’m a new subscriber and I really enjoyed watching your video today. I do my tithing first as well. I also budget a $100 in my grocery. It help me to be creative with my meals for two weeks.😂🤣😂 it’s a struggle but I do it. I also leave my gas money in the bank because I do not like going to the window as well. Great video. New subbie - I really enjoy your honesty and you sharing your journey on how to move forward. Life is hard sometimes and the best thing we can do is pick ourselves up, learn, and move on. Thanks for sharing, this has been helpful for me in my budget system. I'm a huge fan of TBM and the highlighter method tracking expenses was a game changer for me. Hard realities, but definitely opened my eyes to where my money was actually going.

Pluto TV is free, so I've heard. I don't use it (I don't have a TV, and haven't for decades now). I have heard really good things about it. Probably worth a try. I'm in a no-spend year. My income is so low (social security disability) that I have to go no-spend. It makes a big difference!!

Question - Do you have a current water and electric bill? If so I recall only seeing the pass due bill. How does that work in your budget?

I do have a current water bill. It’s due ever other month. I have 2 electric bills right now. The current bill and the installment. I just paid my electric bill in my last paycheck budget. It was in the mid-week check-in video. You’ll see it again on my close-out for my last paycheck in May

Do you leave anything for pocket change.. ie in the instance you are out and need. Few dollars? Or do you just use credit in those situations

I do not use credit right now and as of lately I haven’t had anything that I “NEED” that I haven’t budgeted for. Only thing I would consider a “need” is an emergency type need. Ie. My tire goes flat, something like that. But if it’s something that can wait… I’m waiting right now
