Hi Stephanie, very detailed breakdown as usual. If you can, I would suggest making he interest payment while on forbearance to prevent that interest from capitalizing.

@@BudgetwithRose hi Rose, thank you! I looked at it yesterday and 400 dollars has been added in interest since may smh. I hate student loans. We need to get more income coming in so we can spread the love between debt and savings. Feels like at this point its one or the other and I have to get this home depot card paid off before the interest kicks in next year.

Congrats on getting that Home Depot card down into the $900's! If I remember correctly, some of the Home Depot was a promotional balance and some of it was regular credit card balance. Did you get the the promotional balance amount paid off, paid down, or where does that stand?

@@terryhenderson424 hi Terry I just logged in and checked, $358.80 is left on the 0 percent that expires in March and the rest is accruing regular interest.

@@budgetfor5withstephanie i was thinking the promotional time was up sooner than March of '25...Using $360 as the promotional amount remaining and 7 months, Sept and Mar inclusive, you'll need about $51-$52/ month put against the promotional balance. And yes, the standard Home Depot interest rate used to be 29.9% interest but I understand its gone up. (We have a card we periodically use but are sure to pay it off asap. It used to be as soon as 4 hours, then it moved to 24 hours, and currently it seems to be 5 to 7 days before you can pay it off since Christmas of '22 or '23.) With Home Depot in bankruptcy court, they are likely to want every bit of income they can get.
