"do you think the Enclave knows about this back at the oil rig?" Yes they do know coz I told them, I don't hide anything from my wife... err... I mean from Colonel Whitehill.
@@lastmangameplan Well, there's Enclave troops all over the institute I'm sure they would notice if someone said "No you Enclave people can't patrol that area, that area also and that other area, coz we aren't hiding absolutely anything right there". The Instute is just doing exactly what the Enclave want imo.
@@lastmangameplan I use "4estGimp - Minuteman Watchtowers (Redux) plus Legacy" with my Enclavified Minutemen, it adds watchtowers all around the map, that are initially abandoned but get manned once you proceed with the MM quests. There's actually a couple somewhat close to the Vertibird Refueling Facility, so they act as a first line of defense for the Enclave.
Those are good! It was an aesthetics choice for me. I got worried that I would entirely overwrite the Institute's retro-futuristic vibe into a modern warfare vibe if I wasn't careful, but I'll link those mods in the description.
I have only just stumbled upon your channel as a result of this video. I have to say that I really like your conversational style of video presentation. It works really well from an immersion PoV to make it feel like you're actually the head of the Institute proudly showing off the advanced technology that makes that faction superior to all other factions within Fo4. I really like it! New subscriber.
Video idea, 5 small details you may have missed in America Rising 2. There a ton of cool small attentions to detail scattered throughout the locations that makes the whole mod feel even more intricate
Even in this day and age, it's so good to see more people working to improve the factions. Looking forward to if/ when you get to the Railroad. I love the RR cuz no one else will.
@@lastmangameplan Most of the things I tend to use I've seen from other RR improvement videos like Oxhorn, Juicehead, etc. -Look at me Railroad Edition by xxsaisei and its Handmaiden dependency -Railroad Redone by Xfreakish along with the Improved version of the mod by 103Sakamoto -Improved Railroad by Warsaw2135 is also a fine edition to add more agents around the world -Subversion by ashjay101 is a must have if you want better endings to the game and want the RR to do...something...anything. However, other mods that I have come across helps more with the player. Mostly new outfits and recolors of vanilla clothing to better fit a RR look. Normally look for darker/ earthly colors. -Dark Hooded Rags by aarlandsun makes the vanilla outfit look MUCH better for this reason. -Agent Outfit by Ellise for a sleek look -Railroad Uniform by sepharis suits the faction very nicely, also needed by the Look at Me mod. -Wasteland Operator by taereus recolors the heavy jacket and the assault mask to make a really gnarly looking bit of gear for heavies -Strac Hats by GrafPanzer offers faction based hats -Faction Field Outfits by cat_woman1989 For settlements -Railroad Signs Settlement Edition/ Glowing RR Signs by Robotized -RR Travel Agent by Zorkaz for a fast travel alternative -Subway Runner by ghostfc3s (or the Revised version by Qrsr) if you wanna RP as a sneaky guy using the underground Honestly I could go on. About two years ago, I wanted to try and make a RR overhaul mod so I went and made a trek across the nexus looking for perms on mods that would fit the RR in one way or another. I have a whole document worth of mods that could work for the RR in one way or another.
Most of the mods I tend to use I've seen in other RR overhaul videos. Juicehead, Oxhorn, Augmental, etc all have fairly decent mods to check out. -Look at Me mod RR edition by xxsaisei and its dependencies for a better looking core faction -Railroad Redone by Xfreakish and the further improved version by 103Sakamoto for a better looking HQ overall -Improved Railroad by Warsaw2135 for additional RR classes and spawns in the Commonwealth and FH For the player themselves, i tend to go for Darker/ Earthy colors or recolors of vanilla clothing. Afterall the RR isn't a paramilitary group or even a governmental body. -Dark Hooded Rags by aarlandsun has numerous colors for the distinvtive stealthy operative who wants to have a light and fast look among the civilians -Wasteland Operative by taereus is honestly a genious combination of recoloring both the heavy jacket and assault mask for a very striking visage for the heavy weapons guy -Agent Outfit by Ellise makes for a more clean and sleek aperative look -Railroad Uniform by sepharis is a prereq for LOOK AT ME, but by itself, its also a classy WWI styled overcoat for gruff agents in battle -Handmaiden by Niero just fits the aesthetic to a fine degree. Classic early to mid 20th century spy incarnate. For settlements -The two Railroad SIgns mods from Robotized allow you to place the RR chalk signs within your settlements. Simple as. -Railroad Travel Agent by Zorkaz for alternative fast travel in your games. For the world in general -Subway Runner (more specifically the Revised one by QRSR) for the tunnel rat RP'er in all of us. -Subversion by ToroMontana for a generally better RR experience end game. Honestly I could go on. Two years ago I attempted to make my own RR overhaul, and scoured the nexus for anything that could fit the RR and or make it just a better faction entirely. I ended up finding more than 100 in my search. A lot of which I even got perms to use from the original authors themselvs. @lastmangameplan
The only way to buff the Institute is to get rid all those gluehuffers who don't even know why they're making androids and have them work on food production and weapons, instead.
I still wish there was an option where you pull strings as Director if you accepted Father's propsal oin behalf of ENclave How it works out is that you tell ward/Whitehill you the new director. When you chooseto help armstrong you literally stab him in back
@@lastmangameplan Not sure if I told you this on another video but you can kill in in the board room and Institute won’t become hostile. Hell even your Ward/Whitehill won’t even say anything
@@lastmangameplan gonna try it out with enclaves. Wish I discovered console command sooner it would make dressing settler as enclave personnel a lot easier
Wants again you are awesome thanks for this. But I would like to know can all of that still be used if I do decide to absorb the institute for the enclave. Thx.
It really is. There are a few mods that buff the Institute laser weapons and there is a mod called Institute Improved on PS that buffs the vanilla faction a little if you are looking for one that helps the faction out overall.
When Dr. Armstrong approaches the Enclave with his offer at the N.Boston P.D., you'll have to pass speech checks to convince Ward/Whitehill to accept it.
