The last game for Shula before he retired. It continue to show that the Bills were always the better than the Dolphins and still had all the weapons plus a running game from Thurman Thomas. Marino just never had a running game or a defense to help him out. This would be the last playoff win for Buffalo until 2020.
Marino did good here (although it's hard to see in these highlights). He had 422 passing yards in this blowout loss. If it wasn't for the ten dropped passes, he would have likely exceeded 500 yards and this game would've been a lot closer.
Keep in mind however that the Bills ended with 536 yards gained but the Dolphins had 502 also. Plus, you do not get bonus points for yards gained. The bright side for the Bills-their Defense gives up 502 yards and they still win the game because of having the better QB in this game.
