@@lsnorlax9653 I was using shell bell and potion 😂 forgot to switch potion out but idk if it counts towards my hp regen, also unite move amps my healing and I was popping it all game. I had wise glasses, specs, nd shell bell with a tank set so maybe thats why? 🤔
@@cristianalarcon9071 For sure, but still as Sylveon is now, it gets pretty much invincible if correctly supported by their teammates. You can see how my team didn't stand a chance whenever the opposite Umbreon decided to Mean Look us
@@Hugo-yz1vb his kit is fine as it is, many allrounders make it miserable and physical-based team comps negate every Zard's engage. He is a strong counter to attackers though, but nothing as OP as other mons
Worst change they’ve ever made. I truly cannot understand what the devs are thinking No, hyper voice didn’t require crazy skill but it required more than many moves. Now you don’t even have to look at the screen to play They nerfed the damage making it worse for good players but made it so stupidly broken that you just hit the ENTIRE enemy team all at once now Hyper voice was always one of the most strong but balanced moves, they threw that away entirely They’re only going to cater to braindead zero skill players from now on
It was outdated and I always hated how small the range was. I rather take the increased angle, reduced damage and more slows to enable more playstyle diversity
@@Asakedia no it isn’t goddamn “outdated” what absolute nonsense are you on about The only reason anyone would think it was too small given the amount of movement speed you get is if you’re absolutely abysmally bad at the game. It was NOT hard to play “Enable more playstyle diversity” actually shut up. You’re just spitting out words without even thinking for a second about what they mean It doesn’t enable a goddamn thing. There’s ONE playstyle. Hit everyone. That’s it. It’s literally more dumbed down than before and takes no skill. My god you trash payers use any stupid excuse you can to defend the braindead decisions these devs make
If you ask me, the moves original range was so small and it felt easily punished since it was very restricting cuz of how you're forced into that angle. The move needed a range increase for sure, but I don't think it needed one of this magnitude.
@@AsakediaPlus the damage wasn't even that great for a move as easily punished as hypervoice It was REALLY easy get out of the moves way and even if you hit it, you werent doing crazy damage. Im glqd they increased the range but I feel like this is way too big. If they reduce the angle by a third, it would be fine to me.
@@fyrex7797 totally. Angle of 100° instead 130° or 120° something? That aside, I'm the biggest fan of the move getting slow debuff now. I will not be relying on x.speed all the time now
i remember reading people's complaints on Sylveon's rework before the patch, saying that it was "nerfing Sylveon and making them bad". Sure my guy lmao
I really feel like they missed the ball with this rework, if the enemy team is spread out as they should thsi does very little dmg vs how it was before, and even if you do 100K+ dmg, whenever you are hitting pkmns it feel like you are barely doing dmg to them. Idk I dislike this rework bc it feels like the total dmg is not what you feel playing it
Honestly i still dont know what is the point of making hyper voice W I D E Like seriously why? And why hyper voice specifically? What fundamental problems did it have?
The problem was that it was really easy to dodge. The cone was really small and you werent exactly a fast moving character so you could easily side step away from it or get behind sylveon it's left hapless. Anything with a dash could counter the move. I do feel like the cone is overdone though. They could reduce it by a third or by half and it would be better than this imo
Basically - they are trying to make Sylveon a supporting character - by lowering the damage and increasing the chances of adding debuff to the enemies. You can't 1v1 with the new HV but in a team fight you can set up easy full team wipe if there are other special attackers on your team.
Everyone complaining about the loss of hyper voice damage: 😡 Me knowing that being able to hit at least 2-3 targets at all times not only will do more damage but also give Sylveon more spell vamp, making her more tanky: 🍸
personally, as a sylveon main, i dislike how they made sylveon a ridiculously easy-to-play pokemon. some time ago it was easy to play, moderately difficult to master. now you could hand sylveon to a toddler and they'd do well. plus, the damage nerf is just so disappointing, too.
Hyper Voice can shred up to 80% of the target’s Sp. Def, in which case Spoon will only ignore 4% of the target’s original Sp. Def, which as we know from the tier 2 purple bonus, is very little, and absolutely not worth the item slot.
idk if my theory is correct but ive been playing with bot almost every match (ultra) its very boring. i think its because there is not much player in my area (sg)
"Strong" after playing 20 matches looking at the sylveons of opponents and allies I noticed that now hypervoice against 1 opponent does absolutely nothing, it turns out with the new effects and reduced damage sylveon hypervoice turned into more of an attack for support than for battles, a regular heal with the help of clefable negated the damage from sylveon hypervoice, it looked terrible, so now it's not a hypervoice, this is hypercry( it's even worse with pikachu, because now he catches all the superfasts with his volt tackle and also runs away, while the cooldown of this attack allows you to spam, not giving a chance to any superfast, and they also increased the price of the battle pass, nerfed the subscription, the most terrible update in the history of the game
I was studying something on computer engginnering, likes , views, are not a critical thing to be acurrate, so they can be misleading, which is okay, different from something like ... Related to money, that is critical.
@@TheUnscathedFairy The Eevee’s swifts function as simpler versions of their upgraded versions. Espeon’s swift is Psyshock, Leafeon’s swift is Razor Leaf, Glaceon’s swift is Icy Wind, Umbreon’s swift is Mean Look, and Sylveon’s swift is Hyper Voice. It’s a cool design choice that also helps to ease new players (the players who the Eevees are designed for generally) into the upgraded abilities, and making it a sure-hit would ruin that parallel. Plus why does Sylveon in Eevee form need two sure hits? Not every ability in the game needs to be a sure hit, there’s a distinction for a reason.
I think you misheard me. Swift should've been point and click and not doll eyes. Tldr, I'm not letting any eeveelution haters convince me to agree with their statements. : )
@@TheUnscathedFairy I’m not an Eeveelution hater, and disagreeing with you doesn’t make me one. I stand by that swift should remain functionally similar to hyper voice (with the locked firing direction and strafing) because it’s cool that the Eeveelution’s swifts represent their moves. If they want to rework swift then make it function like mystical fire instead, but don’t just make it a boring sure hit.
