What has always struck me with your videos Patrick, is the trust that the deer and the bears have with you. After all, these are wild creatures, but they sense no danger at all when they come to visit. Always a joy to watch, and Thank You.😊
So beautiful 🦌Animals really can sense a good person and know when they are safe. Thank you for letting all of these beautiful creatures feel safe in your space 💞
Lots of deer in my town too. The vast majority of people don't bother them. Sadly, more and more fences are being thrown up not to stop the deer, but to stop certain humans causing problems. Even most bad acting humans leave wildlife alone, they profit off preying on other humans.
This is why my hostas are up on my decks in lovely containers...I lost 22 plants in one night and found out they are deer candy. My roses are still victims of the night time munchers. Yet the beauty of the deer makes it all worth while. She is so calm in your presence. Lovely, Thank you.
CUTE! I have grape vines climbing up the back porch. The deer eat the leaves, and the raccoons and bears eat the fruit. The neighbor often takes night photos of the big black critters on my roof. The deer trespass most! They eat everything (Plant garlic they said! ha! The deer said 'thank you' LOL!) and trying to keep them out of the garden is a full time job. Thanks Patrick!
What a blessing it is to see nature take its course, especially right off your own porch. This deer looked like it didn’t have a worry in the world. So at ease just grazing away. This deer clearly knew there was nothing to fear. Thank you, Patrick. Perfect video to wind down to. Take care.♥
These creatures are so dainty and elegant 🦌 what a contrast with the big plumpy bears 🐻 ! Your visitors come from nowhere like in a fairy tale 😅 thank you for sharing 👏👏👍
Your deer are so beautiful and add such serenity to your landscaping. I loved your video of the mom and three babies scampering over your lawn and your neighbor's lawn in the early morning and following their Mom...and not a whisper from dear Bella.
All the animals seem to sense your special connection/empathy. That's cool. It really is possible to befriend different animals, while being careful in the wild. When I used to go hiking/camping with my dad in the Northern California wilds, I would ask him what will we do if a bear or mountain lion comes to visit. He said, 'the most dangerous animals walk on two legs.' Anyhow, I have encountered multiple bears (years ago), and none of them ate me. Probably too much gristle.
Gosh it looks like it's been starving and has a big appetite. I imagine the heat has been awful there like other places also. Looks like it found the honey load. ❤
She is so beautiful ❤️❤️ You are lucky to have such gorgeous animal friends coming to visit you and your lovely property. Thank you so much for your videos ❤❤ In a word filled with chaos and cruelty these videos make my heart smile ❤❤❤❤
WOW, another great captured nature moment!!!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Word's out, "Conley's", safe place and good grub! Enjoy your evening, thank you for helping us enjoy ours.🤗
Dear Patrick, I am always impressed by how much all the animals in the forest like to come to you. Without fear, knowing that everyone is welcome at Uncle Patrick's.I thank you for your loving gesture to all the animals who are allowed into your paradise 🫂🫶❤️
Animals that adopt to human settlements become very comfortable with us. Typically, the worst they face is the "get off my lawn" types and cold industrial construction and practices. They will come right up near you if you are calm and passive like Patrick. This adaptation has been in nature for many millennia because intelligent life shares basic social principles. This natural connection and process that arises is how husbandry was discovered and mastered. It's in fact humans who have forgotten this as we've distanced ourselves from nature, a failure of perspective as it has never been reality.
One time, in the middle of a reunion, tents and all, a young deer wandered in to breakfast and visited us all. Have great pics of her with kids and Grandma alike. They do sense good people.
Deer are truly beautiful animals but I've just seen a side to them I never knew - she may be dainty and lovely but she packs in food like there's no tomorrow! She would make a truck driver look picky! 😁 And congrats on your patience, Patrick! A lot of homeowners would have long since dashed out of the house with a broomstick (or worse) to chase her off but not you! And she knows it; just like our bear friends she's comfortable around you. Thanks for this gorgeous vid ❤ 🦌✌
Bonjour Patrick, que c'est beau de regarder ce joli cerf manger plantes et arbustes tout près de vous sans aucune crainte, merci pour cette vidéo 👍🙏🦌♥️♥️♥️♥️
I plane winter rye down here on coast in Wilmington on Carolina Beach? 🏝️ we have no hunting and a ton of wildlife. They love my yard at night to,grab a snack

Deer: "Hi Patrick! I was talking to Simone and a few of her friends earlier, and she was saying your place has the best eats, and WOW was she right! This place is the BEST! I'll be bringing my brood around here soon because they LOVE good eats, especially this fresh stuff you have growing. Thanks for the food - I'll tell Simone you said 'hey' - take care!"
@@mousiebrown943 My friends and cousins who have deer come by a lot tell me that they eat everything they can at that moment. (I can relate.) My friends planted several rose bushes to brighten up the yard; they got up one morning and saw that all the rose bushes were eaten. The rose petals didn't get a chance to dry up, but then they don't have much of a winter in Burbank either. It's a year-round salad bar.
You have such a cool variety of fur babies , am jealous! So cool to see them. Thank you Patrick. 😂😂 trespassing and then here comes the Chainsaw?? There's always something.😊. ❤❤❤❤❤
Ok, Disney Princess, first Poppy literally laying down at your feet and now this doe eating right at your doorstep with you filming her. How do you do it? 😊
@@connieandgwennie1450 I was gobsmacked! It was a multi million dollar property that had just been built. If you could have seen my face😆😂 all that was left was green shoots.
The Description for this video is hysterical 🤣 If she continues to eat for long enough and the wind direction is just right, you might find out about the secondary effects!😂 Oh how I love this channel ❤
These poor creatures are they losing their habitats? I noticed that she only took a bit from each plant. Not so interested in the grass today. Thanks for posting Patrick.😍
Trespassing? You mean the bear? Pardon me - it isn’t fair To restrict access for deer. Just look closely - I am near. See? I do the gardening well And my pruning is so swell! Oh excuse me, I passed gas. The hosta? Or was it the grass? Bloating, see. A side effect. But you know that, I expect. And that other smell (the pee). Another side effect, you see. Well, cheerio, that’s my work done. Thank you, that was really fun.
Patrick, I love your sense of humor!! I've been in the hospital since Thursday and definitely needed a good laugh!! Have a nice weekend. Your friend from Connecticut...💯👆🦌🌰😊
Deer come around where I live but in 30 years, I've only seen about 3! I sleep too late, I guess! Gotta see about some "deer corn" ( sold for 😫 deer hunting bait! ) to leave out for these gentle friends.
The inexorable rapacity of the consumption would destroy a man's food garden in minutes, and his farm in hours. How wise, fecund and kind are humble humans, to live with, share with, admire, shepherd and consume all of Gods natural bounty, as they are bound.
Funny: When I first read your comment, I thought Faline had gotten herself into someone's asparagus patch. The only ways I can think of to test for the "secondary effects" would be...well, have you ever eaten Hostas? Apparently they're quite edible for humans: "boiled, fried in tempura, or eaten raw."
Nom nom nom…look on the bright side, that’s that much less raking you’ll have to do in a month. So when do we choose a name for this one? How about. 🎵(Doe) RE-MI 🎶. ? Do you have a salt lick?
MERCI💙🤍♥️
I'm not so sure. There's a nature Sanctuary near me, and it's protected. They will occasionally allow hunting, but generally none and no bicycles or dogs allowed inside. Just Walkers and joggers. You can get within 10 or 15 ft of them, and as long as you're quiet and not threatening, they will keep an eye on you come up but they're not that afraid
