No one else knows Buffy like Angel does and no one else knows him like Buffy does Angel was her boyfriend, her beloved soulmate, her partner in crime, her better half, he was everything to her, he always believed in her when no one else did they met for a reason she fell with him for a reason and so did he But she will always be grateful for that time she really did got to be with him, in return she changed for better and so did he because she loved him so much with all of her HEART and so did he❤️ In episode 2x22 that scene was so heartbreaking to watch That scene was officially their last kiss for a very long time, it’s so sad that he got his soul right back when she had to kill him poor Buffy I couldn’t literally stopping crying When he said her name she knew he was back to himself again but it was to late for him It was so heartbreaking when Buffy told Angel this in 3x10: WHAT ABOUT ME I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I TRIED TO MAKE YOU GO AWAY I KILLED YOU AND IT DIDN’T HELP

I sort of understand their relationship more. Two lovers, soulmates, who love eachother more then they will ever love anyone else and yet fate or whatever seems determined to keep them apart.
They deserved so much more than what they got Angel deserved so much more than what he got he deserved to be with Buffy after everything he had to go through he was and always will be her first and only love 💗

I love the scene in s4 of Buffy when Angel comes to apologize to her and she starts shouting at him and then they both laugh! I love that moment between them and that laugh!!! it shows real intimacy, they really know each other so well at that point! Sorry Riley but it's not over between B&A, it will never be. in an earlier scene in that same episode, she was so pissed of at Angel in front of Riley: again, it reveals so much of what she really feels! I feel sorry for Riley in that episode.

What's truly remarkable is that David Boreanaz was cast as Angel at pretty much the last minute before shooting began. Jane Espenson saw him out walking his dog and liked his looks (because who wouldn't, amirite?). Joss Whedon wasn't even convinced that David was right for the part at first (they actually wanted a Latin American actor initially), but after Joss saw the reaction of all of the women in the room after the audition, who were basically swooning, he decided David fit the part. They probably did an initial chemistry test with him and SMG to make sure there were sparks there (and oh boy were there!) but there probably wasn't time for much more than that before they began filming. It was definitely destiny that he just happened to be in the right place at the right time and went on to be part of one of the greatest love stories ever told.
He’s the one who damaged her the most but he was also the best thing that ever happened to her he could never love anyone else the same way he always has and will always love her but they could never be together because of his stupid curse over his life and that’s the most heartbreaking thing ever and it breaks Buffy’s heart every single time she thinks about Angel because all she wants is to be with the only man she’s ever loved and she can’t do that and it breaks his heart 💔 too but he was also lucky enough to have had the chance to have met her and got a chance to falling in love with her too it was worth anything for him!!!!!!!!!

True. They do kiss and he pushes her a bit in Season 2 Episode 19-Only Have Eyes For You. So that could be the episode. However, It's 02:14-Innocence where he throws her to the floor and then later she kicks him.
