Solid reaction. When this aired , the group of girls that watched every Monday, were all taken aback by this episode. They all went to an all girls school, our sister school, and they all told me that week how accurate the show was for each of them. They told me how groups would form and how girls were excluded. How the power to control groups was how the social order was determined. It was fascinating and my first experience with the mystery of teen girls and the foreign civilization that the girls lived in. I learned so much that week and the next few years that this episode will always be close to my heart.
Yesss!!! Love this episode. CC does no wrong! 😂 I love how you related the invisibility of Marcie to the invisibility of individuals and minority groups throughout history and today 💜 #buffyseason2
Again a really well written episode, exploring how an outsider can feel when ignored, and how they can be driven to extreme actions because of this. A very sinister ending with shades of many an X-Files episode. Great indeed. Funny comedy again also with Cordelia telling the story about knocking the girl down in her car, and making it all about her.
The way you said "There's the bat" made me think of a really good movie you should react to. It's called Jeffrey. It came out in 1995. It's a gay romantic comedy with lots of cameos.
pity you haven't continued with torchwood cause there's an actor called james masters that was in a couple of eps who's from captain jacks past so gives yo an insite to some of jacks origin story who will be an important part of future buffy eps. #buffy season 2
