Very well made. The videography in this is so clean and crisp, making it one of the best detailed videos I've seen of the Butterfly. This video solidified my choice in a compact stroller, so thank you for taking the time to create such a great video and review. Well done!

We bought this stroller and we are going to return it. The quality is really nice but there were two deal breakers for us. It was very wobbly (from side to side). Also its very front light so the stroller tilts back with little effort. It's a bit narrower stroller so the stability isn't really there for everyday use. It's not really an issue if you're just using this stroller once in a blue moon. Also the collapsing buttons are pretty bad. It's a cheap mechanism that they definitely saved money on. The minu has a awesome collapsing system that blows the butterfly out of the water. I really think the seat cushion is awesome on the butterfly. We haven't decided which stroller were going to but this one is a 7/10 for us.

Im wanting an everyday errand stroller (school pick up, quick trip to the shop etc) that I can keep in my car instead of lugging a big one around, and also use it for our yearly holidays. I’m torn between the Minu V2 and Bugaboo Butterfly 😭 which would you recommend for my purpose?! I have a 6m old and 4 year old so mainly for the baby 😉 I did hear about the tipping with the butterfly… do you mean tipping when it’s standing still?
@savchuktaras
@savchuktaras Год назад
@@samanthahalpin8640 we ended up keeping the butterfly. After testing more pie at Buybuybaby and Nordstrom this one was best because it’s lite weight. Also the mesh/canopy doesn’t ever touch the ground when it’s collapsed (minu 2 had this issue). Many travel strollers when collapse the canopy touches the ground. You don’t want parking lot germs all over your stroller. The tipping isn’t really an issue for us cause our baby is small and doesn’t crawl around in the stroller. For non tipping stroller you have to get one that has bigger wheels and bigger back stance; but then they become too heavy or it becomes a two piece. We really have grown to like this one even after being critical. Also the collapse button gets better over time. Definitely get the bumper bar if you order this stroller; it’s a absolute must. Sold as a accessory.

I bought this pushchair recently and am currently trying to return it to the retailer. We found it had quite a big issue with tipping sideways due to its high centre of gravity and just wanted to share this information as I didn't see anyone mention it in any of the reviews I watched. If you intend to push it along anything other than perfectly flat even surfaces then I would strongly advise against this pushchair. I never considered sloped driveways, slopes caused by tree roots etc when I was looking at this stroller. I would also say I particularly looked at it because it was one of the larger seats and weight limits for a travel stroller, but when my 11.5kg baby leant to one side whilst we were walking along a perfectly smooth but slightly sloped path, the buggy did tip over. Of course I had hold of the handle bar so no harm done but this happened several times over a 1.6mile round trip. I can only imagine that issue getting worse the bigger your child, and it really pulled on my back and shoulders keeping it upright.

Thank you so much for this info. Been very confused on whether to go for this or the yoyo - was sold on this due to the easy fold/unfold but you are the 2nd person to mention the tipping so now I am confused whether it work work with my 2 year old. x

@@staceygreenwood5477 Unfortunately, living in Central London - we’re out of luck of having smooth flat surfaces. We also go for walks near the river/canal with a lot of redevelopment/constructions happening all at once - and sometimes our Egg pram even struggles. 😫 Have you decided whether the Yoyo would be better or rather an alternative stroller than those I have listed. I haven't reviewed the TRVL in particular because it's not one I would recommend anyone buy. It's among the most expensive compacts but it's not worth the cost with a seat angle doesn't hold children upright enough and flimsy build. Also, despite it's name and nice fold, I don't believe it passes IATA specs for air travel (a bit deceptive in my opinion.) I'd easily stick with the Butterfly, Minu or Metro+.

We are considering a Butterfly as our everyday stroller. Which would you recommend for someone who lives in a non-walkable city (we get around in the car everywhere but live in a city so don’t have huge open suburban spaces): the Cruz V2 or the Butterfly as an everyday stroller? What we like about each one so far (based on just watching video reviews online): For the Cruz V2 we like the bassinet add-on for the first months/year, the bigger storage space and the overall robustness and maneuverability For the Butterfly: the super light weight and compactness for getting it in and out of the car/apartments, as well as convenience in general especially as the baby grows into a toddler. Also the obvious benefit of it already being overhead bin approved for when we travel. For both we like the option of attaching a car seat directly on the stroller especially in the newborn/infant phase So hard to decide!

Interested in a Nuna TRVL review if you’re able!
@dadverb
@dadverb 2 года назад

I don’t understand why u have all the same answers to all asking to make a review for Nuna trvl, it sounds you’re so against Nuna, nina trvl is a nice stroler and it’s not flimsy at all and we used that everytime we travel. I also have butterfly and both great

I just bought the minu v2 a few weeks ago. Is it worth selling the minu for the butterfly? Bugaboo is my preferred stroller brand as I have the buffalo as well. I can’t decide what to do! I honestly hate how cumbersome the minu v2 is when folded.
@abbieg2052
@abbieg2052 2 года назад
What did you decide out of curiosity? I just got the butterfly, and i'm having second thoughts. I don't love the seat fabric. It looks like it will pill easily. I saw some reviews mention this. The break feels like it could easily break. One of the buttons to unlock gets stuck. And I don't care for the "foot rest." It doesn't help that mine arrived with scuffs already on it. I know strollers get scuffed up, but I want to be the one to do that.

Hoping I could get a response on this one. If you could recommend one do-it-all stroller for a growing family that doesn’t want to have multiple for different scenarios, what direction would you point them in? Bumbleride Era? Considered a Doona but been reading quite a bit about the safety concerns considering the inability to allow the newborn to lie flat.
@jjensen7984
@jjensen7984 2 года назад
I would probably say depends on your overall budget. I know the Uppababy Vista V2 can go anywhere from 1 to 3 kinds with different configurations. We just got one and a clip in car seat for travel system as well. It also comes with a bassinet for flat back. And can double as a sleeping bassinet for first few months.

It depends on what you're looking for, budget, size of your car, and where you live ( sidewalks,gravel,grass,...) and how offten will you have to put the stroller in the car and get it out 😊 we have the bugaboo donkey and LOVE IT it glides so effortlessly on any surface and it's really easy to steer with twins. I used it a couple of times in single mode and it's narrower than the 2 single strollrs we had with our first son 😊

What car seat would you recommend for an infant and toddler all in 1? If I get the bugaboo I would need to purchase a extra accessory for the newborn which adds to the cost? Wouldn't it make more sense to get a Doona (cost effective)? Will a Doona be big enough for a toddler? I like the concept of Doona just not sure if I could use it when the newborn becomes a toddler. In the case do people buy a separate stroller/car seat for the toddler stage? Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated and keep up the great content!
@juliarodriguez2123
@juliarodriguez2123 2 года назад
From what I’ve heard, it’s a matter of your baby’s size/weight with the Doona - once their shoulders are too broad or they weigh as much as the limit, then you’d have to buy an entirely new travel system (car seat and stroller). Some babies last a year and a half, some don’t even make it a year! 😵
