@@thegreatafrican3367 What he means is that the engine must come from a 'production car' + Must not get more cilinders than 8 . Otherwise the suspence would get out .
normies: (919 evo doing almost 300kph around flugplatz and achieving the fastest lap time around nordschleife) I sleep (Bugatti driving fast in a line) Real shit
Watching the Bugatti Bolide at Lemans feels like a friendly reminder that my life is a never ending search for things that are slightly less impressive
I feel sad to see these hyper-exotic-concept-race cars (e.g. this one, Ferrari FXX-K, Aston Martin Valkyrie). I strongly believe these cars are almost perfectly designed and built. However, because of their high-price tag and rarity, never will we see them running in maximum pace. In fact, in show runs they barely hit full throttle. I think this is a waste of the money and effort that the engineers put into building such a masterpiece. Don’t say to me that they have 1000 horsepower or a V12 engine, when they keep the car in 3000 rpm in show runs.
Sad? Nope. Stupid waste? Yes. Built for the folks with more money than sense, and as a by-product, car engineering advances. Eventually it will end up in a Honda or a VW for the masses, in say, 30 years. Yay!
Put these so-called "hypercars" in their own invitational class next year. One example each of the Bolide, McLaren Senna, Aston Martin Valkyrie, AMG-One.
@@yqzu yup, i agree, which is sad to know. Mclaren also keep using Senna's name on a vast amount of stuff (specially f1 related but not limited to it) as a cashgrabber, but thats just me saying. Unfortunately the Senna problem extends to his family and its a topic for another day. 🫠 id rather keep enjoying some engine revving
That doesn't look at all like the Civetta Bolide, and BeamNG had the name first. I'll make popcorn for the inevitable copyright battle when Bugatti try to secure the name
Yeah but it has like ?1700? Hp so how fair of a competition that would be lol Also there is no way the engine would last 24 hours at full power output, i don't believe in it
@@ForzaPolska06 Naah it would have been way too heavy to brake and corner and likely would be slower than a Hypercar. But the worst part is that it would run out of fuel way too fast at race pace and have to pit all the time. There is a very good reason the Hypercars are what they are - Superefficient and with 940 hp and a low weight and superb brakes/handling they are just way better.
@@barath4545 It weights 1240kg with 1850cv 1.5cv/kg power to weight ratio, lot of downforce and huge top speed it is no doubt faster on a single lap, i agree with you the race would go down for stint lengths tires and engine/braking failures
