Its a 14 car battle at the moment. The Koenigsegg Jesko “300” , Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, Hennessey Venom F5, Alieno Arcanum RP5, Keating Supercars Vipera Berus, Keating Supercars Bolt ,Spyros Panopoulos Automotive Chaos, Spyros Panopoulos Automotive Apeiron, SSC Tuatara, Corbellati Missile, Arash Af10, Vector WX8, and Devel Sixteen are all coming to try to dethrone the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. All the cars are in the production phase except for the Devel Sixteen ( 3 shell cars and the V16 engine has been built) Alieno Arcanum (factory is being built, production spec car coming next year hopefully) and the Vector WX8 ( only 1 shell car has been built, still in development)

I did research on all the companies and obsviously SSC, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Hennessey are legit. All 4 companies have had the fastest production car at one point (some models were disqualified due to single runs or not enough being built but the speed was verified). Even though Hennessey has some shady business tactics, they’re a legit company. Spyros Panopoulos Automotive , Arash, Vector, and Keating Supercars are also legit. Spyros Panopoulos worked for Mclaren for several years and develops parts used by Ford Performance and Formula 1 teams. He also owns the Extreme Tuners company which tunes exotic cars, mainly mclarens and Evos , the latter of which broke several world records. He also apparently built a batcave in Greece. Arash has built some fast cars, albeit in low production volumes. Vector has built a few cars and also held the fastest production car title at one point before they were disqualified due to them not meeting the mandatory 25 production cars. Keating Supercars has built a few cars. The TKR, a model of theirs hit 260 mph and would’ve had the fastest production car record but they only ran one direction and didn’t built enough production cars. They also had a model called the bolt which could reportedly do 340 mph, however it has never been tested. Alieno is a new startup company but they are actively building their factory and designing their cars so it’s good to see that they are serious about it. Devel, the least credible has built a total of 3 shell cars since they announced the car in 2013. The only progess they have made is building the 5007 hp engine and apparently the design team left the project so who knows if it will be built. Corbellati is a new company that was founded by a jeweler in the Canary Islands. So far one prototype has been built and the car is scheduled to enter production soon

Honorable mentions: Mosler IAD MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo Land Shark: built by mosler and tuned by IAD, the land shark had a 2500 hp twin turbo LS V8 that could reportedly do 305 mph, however the car has never been tested. Mosler was a legit company that built several 230+ mph cars for the tracks and the streets. Unfortunately in 2013, the company went out of business and was bought by Rossion Automotive. On the bright side, Rossion said they will build a successor to the MT900 under the Rossion name so we could see a new 300 mph car from them in the near future. Transtar Dagger GT: Transtar Industries is an American based company that showed off a car called the Dagger GT which could reportedly do 320 mph. However only one a 3D model of the car exists and their company website is up for sale, so this is more than likely a scam. Ferrari/Adriano Raeli Design F80: designed by Adriano Raeli for a school project , the F80 could reportedly do 300 mph. Only 3D models and a 1:3 Scale model concept exist and Ferrari forced Raeli to remove the Ferrari logos. Raeli also said he would like to start up his own company some day so we could see the F80 under his company, if Ferrari decides to never build it, which seems to be the case Mclaren Speedtail “300 mph”: A 300 mph variant of the speedtail that has been rendered and is rumored to enter production. Mclaren is a legit company that produces insanely fast race cars and road cars and their most famous model, the F1 became the first road legal car to ever hit 240 mph or more so it isn’t too far fetched that they want the title back, considering the speedtail is the successor to the F1. Tesla Roadster SpaceX Package: The new Tesla roadster can reportedly do over 250 mph so it’s not impossible that spaceX package will do 300 mph. It comes with an additional 10 spaceX rocket thrusters and it can reportedly go 0-60 in 1.1 seconds so a 300 mph top speed seems possible Trion Nemesis RR “ Black Ops Edition”: A limited edition variant of the Nemesis RR, the Black Ops Edition claims to be a more powerful variant of the RR that has a “predator mode” that unleashes full power for the driver to use. The Nemesis RR claims a 270+ top speed so it seems possible the Black Ops edition can do 300 mph. However Trion has built only a shell car and a standalone engine at the moment and it’s unlikely the car will enter production M2K Motorsports Ford GT “X” : M2K Motorsports modified a 2006 Ford GT and it hit 300 mph. It became the first road legal car to reach 300 mph Melling Hellcat: Designed by engineer Al Melling, the Hellcat was powered by a quad turbo flat plane V10 and it could reportedly go 295+ mph. Melling helped build engines for several race teams over the years and even helped jaguar win at Le Mans 4 times. He knew what he was doing unfortunately he just didn’t have much luck and only a few cars were built. However he still remains hopeful that the car will enter production Walley Larson LE1 Groundfighter: possibly the first ever car to claim a 300 mph top speed the LE1 was built in 2001 by Walley Larson and the car featured parts from actual military aircraft, namely the canopy from the F-16 Tomcat and the wiring from the B-52 Bomber. Unfortunately the car never left the prototype phase and was never built. The car is being restored as of 2020 Ajlani Drakuma: The Drakuma is a new hypercar with a crazy design powered by a twin turbo V8. No specs for this car exist at the moment due to it being a shell car. However it’s possible they will claim 300 mph for the top speed GAZ TR Arrow: built by the Soviet Union in 1954, this is the first car to claim a 300 mph top speed. Only one prototype was built and it was powered by a jet engine. It was tested and it reached 186 mph due to limitations, becoming the first car failing to reach the 300 mph goal.

The engine needs airflow. Reducing the size of the horseshoe which is one of the primary air intakes would be deadly for this engine.

Yeah the problem with the standard chiron is its too wide for its length but the ss fixes that
