Took another run at digipi today to see if I might fall in love now that I have a radio with built in USB sound card/cat control with the QRPLabs QMX+. I wanted to create a streamlined kit for impromptu field operations. Using the same WSJT-X interface was a game changer over the FT8CN Android option. Yes, I now have to carry a tiny Rpi Zero 2W but I can drop the burner Android phone and use the iOS phone I already have in my pocket. Plus I can run the Rpi Zero off the same tiny TalentCell 12v+5v USB battery!
Love the updates buddy but what the project really needs is a documentation overhaul. Looking through a long back catalog of random videos to learn how to hook up this and that or use that or this isn't great. I know you've no obligation and if I could consistently get mine doing everything I want I might try and help. This is what stall so many open source projects I come across though. There's the in group and the out group and no documentation bridge.
Yah, i feel the pain, you have more than I do :). Upgrade process is to reflash. Save and restore /local, /conifg, /fldigi, if you'd like to keep your data.
