Sulit ang pag lalakad ni April 😅😅 God bless us all! Praying for each one of you
My 1st time to watch this vlog tapos it feels good to know na Christian po pla kyong lahat.Sna po tinanggal ung music while praying. Sna po maivlog nyo further ang difference ng OPEN WORK PERMIT sa WORK PERMIT na may Employer na pagdating po dyan. Thank u sa napaka-informative po na vlog.. God bless!🙏🏻🤍
We immigrated from Dubai too..in 2002. Ang dala lang namin noon, 2 maletas :). I had to purge a lot of kitchen stuff sa Dubai airport noon, coz I was getting charged so much excess baggage fees.
😅 pero worth it!
Ganun pa man maraming salamat sa info.
Hellooo po Ms. April and Sir Jim ❤ Keep on blogging po, at sobrang nkakainspire kayo, as we all know d nmn po tlg madali ang buhay lalo't may pangarap na inaabot, your blog is so inspiring and i always wait for your new videos.. Andami pong nega comments here 😂 But you both are really doing a good job on inspiring a lot of people who have the same dream, going there in Canada.. very positive ng videos nyo.. 💚💚💚
Wishing you all the best, lalo na magkaka baby na kayo. Hanga ako sa sipag, determination at lakas ng loob ninyo to make a new home abroad. Im sure marami kayong nai-inspire by sharing your experiences
All glory to God po! Tlagang pinag pray po namin. Ang prayer namin is Lord kung para samin i approve mo yung application pero kung tingin mo na hindi kami para sa Canada, I reject mo yung application. At the end of the day, mas alam nig Panginoon makaka buti satin. 🙏 ❤️
@@Jimmyboyz If that time comes ,me and my Partner can talk about our journey as well, him as Intnl student and my path on getting my Nursing liscense here in Canada.
Dont use an immigration agency. All they do is fill out the forms for you and submit to the embassy. Its meant for people with language challenges. We Filipinos who are fluent in English dont need it. Sayang lang gastos. We went through an agency thinking they can help us get approved. Our case rep disappeared on us for half a year, and when we followed-up, wala na pala sa agency...she had immigrated to Canada too! All in all, it took us a year to get our visas. Dont also hire a container to ship your household stuff...unless talagang high-end and mamahalin. You can get good ones here verrry cheap. Dont buy winter clothes there..buy them here as its cheaper and there’s greater variety. One thing you must allocate money on, money for your first week here. Your bank transfer of funds from somewhere else may take time to get screened and hit yr account. Be prepared for that. Also, if u can set aside some money for school to upgrade yourself, thats a big advantage, so you wont have to do survival jobs for long.
Super thank you sa info lods!
But still, nanghinayang sila kasi umabit din ata ng Dhs25K that time. Kami naman, start from scratch talaga, yung first apt namin, yung prev tenant ayaw umalis unless bilhin daw namin yung Italian bedroom set nya dahil di nya daw madadala. So first few weeks, latag latag ng dyaryo sa sahig pag kakain 😅. Nag aral si mister ng MBA upon landing..so bumalik ako ng Dubai that year para may isa sa amin nagwowork. One year Exec MBA so di ganun katagal. Nung maka grad sya, saka ako bumalik ng Canada. Nakakuha agad sha ng maayos na work sa office bec of that. Three months after ko maging FT employee, nabuntis ako...I was really worried kasi halos one year pa lang kami dito..and I was still trying to get my footing job-wise. Canada was so good...kahit bago lang ako, the employer retained me and assured me of a job pagka panganak..and my benefits covered a solo room stay sa hospital pa. All checkups, prenatal classes, etc, libre. When I delivered, may pa freebie pa ang hospital na mga diapers and formula (I wasnt producing milk immediately after birth). And they were not letting me go home unless they have inspected yung car seat ng baby to make sure compliant siya. Three days after birth, may tawag sa Canada Health to make sure am coping with a newborn well..and if I was in an abusive relationship daw - lol. Thankfully, I was not but I appreciated that call. Our son is now 18 and studying Comp Engineering in university..how time flies. We never bought any school supplies for him..libre lahat sa school. Didnt pay any school bus fees. The govt mailed us cheques every month till he turned 12 as extra child support (Universal Childcare Benefit), which we put towards his after school activities (*BTW, If you and April plan to open an RESP for yr child, do your research. We were new and didnt know much so we went with CST. The money didnt grow as much as a family friend who opened through the bank. A diff of $30K now at maturity). Start contributing to yr RRSP even with yr survival jobs. Bawas tax din yan. Learn about finance and how you can pay less tax. 15 years after we landed in Canada with not a lot of money (both of us didnt come from moneyed backgrounds), we owned 3 properties in Toronto GTA. Pinaupahan ang dalawa, while our home’s basement is also being rented. Hirap dahil sagad sa utang with multiple mortgages and we were just regular salaried people. But it paid off in the end. Invest, invest, invest and do a side gig. Eventually, you will know you made the right decision to come here.
After seeing homeless andstard ng canada ngayun ang daming crime unsafe..then we desided to move na lang sa London..safety is really important lalo pa kasama mga kids...we are not skilled workers..pero masabi ko na kahit sa business madaming opportunity sa Europe..
Hello very inspiring ang vlog nio unlike s ibang vlog n napapanood q.napapaisip tuloy aq punta jan.any help po s pag apply DIY.currently working aq s israel as a elderly caregiver more than 5yrs.n.godbless sainyo
Mahirap tlaga pag sa canada. Lalo nat student amg pasok niyo. US kayo under EW visa. Kasi pagdating niyo Greencard agad kayo dla mo pa pamilya.
I want to see how you will handle the cold come winter time. There’s one reason why it is easy to migrate to Canada. it’s because Canadians left for warm states and they need to replenish the population. Plus, the oilers need menial workers for support.
Hello Lods, na subukan na namin last year. Pero siguro dahil nasa British Columbia kami kaya di ganun kalamig. Halos 2 weeks lang an snow dito.
Hoping to see you if matuloy kami ng husband ko.
Although alam namin na mas mataas cost of living compared sa Alberta, I think yung quality of life ay iba din jan. Baka naman may mainterview kayo or kilala na same din ang situation to help us first time parents na ma enlighten. Salamat mga lods and God willing, we’ll see you soon🙏 God bless!
Ayyy sige, I think I already have someone in mind na pde ko mainterview! Thank you sa idea na to! Pero kung ako ttanungin mo, magandang idea yung iniisip nyo, mejo mahirap kc kung my toddler ka pa, challenging sa paghahanap ng work na swak sa time kay baby. Hoping na makita nmin kayo dto soon❤
Hello lods! Pwede yun lods.
By that time I'm sure naka settle na kayo
Buchart nung winter and summer. Ma lahat skywalk tsaka yung favorite naming Tim Hortons.. Nag mass kami sa old church sa downtown Victoria.. Parents ko from Vancouver and sisters ko.. Na karating ako sa vlogg niyo kasi para just to know why my other sister and her family who are us citizens decided to move there to join my parents and my other sisters 3 months palang sila Jan. . Then most of the bloggers ang Sabi mahirap sa Canada. My sister got a tech job ng mabilis tapos lipat ba sila.. My parents and my sisters naman mga 2 decades na jan.
@@Jimmyboyz Maganda ang Victoria parang painting ang view. Good luck sa adventure niyo.. Yung sister ko nagstart palang jan from New Jersey’. Months palang jan.
Hello po, business ad po course nya. Sa ngayon po nag release ng bagong requirements si IRCC, tinaasan nila show money from 10k CAD to 20k CAD excluding tuition fee
Hello Ms April hope all is well po sa inyo ng iyong hubby and Baby. Thank you po
Thank you po. Malaking tulong po ang inyong mensahe. Yun pong saamin ay delayed na for months yung letter request for the passport submission ni OWP.
@@Jimmyboyz pero we're happy to get informed before we migrated there.. Just sharing.. :)
Food bank is not an ayuda. It is suppose to be for people who are really in need.
@@Jimmyboyz I believe it is for all UVIC students who are in need. Kasi meron din naman mga PR and citizens in need kahit na nag aaral sila. For an international student we showed the government that we were financially capable living and studying here in Canada sa SOP pa lang. Kung career oriented ka and you like your work to be related to your profession - canada is not the place. Basically mostly you work on anything to survive (of course hindi lahat).

I been in Canada since I was10 years old and that is 40 years ago. Tama lahat sinabi mo. Iba na pamumuhay dito, dahil natapos ako dito I have a good job and bayad na bahay namin. Pro sa mga baguhan beware.
It takes many skills to successfully migrate to a new country. I came here in my 30's 35 years ago. I refused to take minimum wage jobs unless it became absolutely necessary. Using my old network to get a referral (internet was just starting but no social media) I was hired by a Top 100 company worked my way from an entry level position to middle management. Retired 4 years ago with the flexibility to retire anywhere but decided against moving back to the Philippines due to the better infrastructure and support systems here. It's different for everyone but my Filipino friends for the most part have done the same. Nothing comes easy you need the skills to work on it. Good luck to you.
If you can’t say something nice say nothing at all. Don’t generalize bec a lot of us have established & have successfully reached our careers. If you are a true Filipino why are you too critical & so bitter in life. Good for you, you achieved the material things you wished for. Natural lang that you have to start fr the scratch in a new country. Nothing is served in a silver plate you have to work for it . Period!!!
