I lived in the Bay Area and worked in San Francisco for 17 years . I can relate to your story . Now I am retired and living in the Philippines for good . Life is better in our country , no credit card debts , no mortgage , cheaper utilities , accesible transportation and best if all , You Know Your Neighbors !
Happy New Year po at salamat ng marami sa pag subscribed sa channel na ito, at natutuwa po ako at marami kayong memories sa San Francisco. Maganda po talaga sa atin, there’s no place like home, inggat po palagi at sana po lagi kayong manood ng SF videos. Stay safe po...😊
There are better and affordable places in US that SF or Bay Area. Most Pinoys are able to save for retirement and are not in debt because they live in a low cost city or State. I am debt-free and retired at 38. I know many successful Pinoys who are debt-free and retired in US, and just take vacations in Pinas. For you, life is better in Pinas because you have income in USD monthly. Pinas is hell for Filipinos(majority) because of low salaries that is why they work overseas. In US, life is good and groceries, cars, electronics, appliances, quality food, shoes/clothes and utilities are cheaper in US once the house and cars are paid off. It is only cheaper in Pinas if you want to live and eat like a local but when you are already accustomed to Western standards of living/convenience with AC, heater, whole house hot water, fast internet, reliable electricity/water, living in Pinas is hell on earth, weather sucks in Pinas, it is too hot in Summer and too many typhoons, 20 + per year. That is not fun. If one can afford to retire in US, retire in US and just take vacations in Pinas, Asia or anywhere in the world.
Finally there’s a blogger for San Francisco. I am a new subscriber. We lived in San Francisco for 48 years...bought our first house in 1975. I retired from my State job after working for 28 years. Sold our house in 2018 and bought in a development in Vacaville. Used to go to South City Costco and we grocery shop too in Seafood City. San Francisco is getting crowded. Glad to know you blog in the area. Belated happy New Year!!
I’m very happy to know that you’re family resided here in San Francisco for 48 years, and just recently moved to Vacaville. I know it’s a good decision to move out of the City in buying new house due to a very high property price with a smaller and old house here. Happy New Year to you and your family and thank you very much po sa support dito sa channel ng NH0X TV and hoping that I can upload more videos you can enjoy watching. 😊❤️
It's nice na ginamit nyo rin sir ang medium na ito to orient people sa Pinas na hindi porket nasa ibang bansa ay big time. May mga gastusin din for everyday life.
I love San Francisco back in the 90’s - I used to lived there for 1 year then came back sa San Diego- but most of my relatives NASA Daly City and some friends sa SF. Thank you for sharing your video. new subscriber here #teamusa

Near perfect weather, astronomically EXPENSIVE, more support services than any other California city I know of, beautiful parks, cool small cafes with lots of character, endless homeless people shooting up in broad daylight, if you have a car and live in the main city area it will be broken into. There’s good and bad like in any other city 🤷♂️
Happy New Year and thank you for subscribing.🙏🏻
Happy New Year JurinKate TV at maraming salamat sa pag subscribed at bayaan mo I will show more of the different beautiful places dito sa San Francisco.

Greetings from SG! Goodness Ang hirap dyan. Akala ko Ang pinakamahal ay singapore. Pero dito paglabas no Ng bahay dapat mask 😷 agad. Huli ka plus $300 fine. Pero covid dito 7 Lang ngayong araw. Trace agad.
I missed SFBA.Was there mid 70s thru early 90s.Love San Fran.A lot of Filipino in the Bay Area own a house.Still have siblings in SFBA n everyone own a house.Nice place to live.
Daly City and South San Francisco where most of the Filipino owned houses in the Bay Area. The loveliness of Paris seems somehow sadly grey The glory that was Rome is of another day I've been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan I'm going home to my city by the Bay… Tony Bennett 😊
@@ronnie_ano123 u forgot contra costa county/Vallejo,Hercules,Alameda,Union city,Fremont, Santa Clara County,San Jose n some more other counties Filipinos own houses. All the way to Sacto.Filipinos own businesses n properties in Cali.
I'm a Canadian engineer and married to a Filipina scientist who I met at graduate school in BC, Canada. Years ago, my wife and I had both six-figure job offers in the Bay area but politely declined them because of the high cost of living. Instead, we moved to NY because of much more enticing jobs.
Nice to know you’re married to my kababayan and having a very good job in NY, we moved here cause of more better opportunities compared to Saipan, with the lord good grace we can sustain the cost of living. Thank you for watching and support to my channel.
Hi from Atlanta, Ga. po yan ang masarap sa California may Seafood City, May Jollibee, Max and Chowking. I’ve been to San Francisco and Sacramento way back 2008 when i visit a friend. I like California kaso mas mataas po ang cost of living dyan. Dito sa Georgia mas madami pong filipino who owned nice and big houses mas affordable po dito but nakakainlove talaga ang San Francisco as a tourist.
I consider myself to be lucky to live and work here and helped family in the Philippines. Ingat po kayo dyan sa San Francisco.
I was going to start life sa Bay area in the 80s. I like it there but I unfortunately job was hard to find. I actually concentrated sa downtown area lang. Newspaper classified pa during that time. I am now retired in Ventura, Ca and I missed the City by the Bay. Kmusta naman sa SF? Glad you folks are doing well, I assume. Thanks for your vlog.
@@guendelynkrane Norway has better Healthcare system. America need mo bumili ng health insurance. Pag wala ka nun. At di mo afford.
You need to work hard, dahil mahal ang cost of living allowance, pero it’s up to the person pa rin kung paano ang lifestyle na gusto. Pero pag masipag ka asenso ka dito.
Friend ko nakatira dyn san fo .. gusto nya ako magmove dti dyn humindi ako dahil alam ko napakamahal ng cost of living dyn .. here ako ngayon sa North Carolina napakababa ng cost of living
@@ronnie_ano123 hello Happy New Year din dyan sayo at sa family mo sir, stay safe and God Bless. 👍🏾😀🙏
Kababayan here from Vegas. A lot of Californians are moving to Nevada especially Vegas because of high cost of living and now you look at L. A grabe ang homeless population, even Venice beach naging skid row na.
Salamat sa pag subscribed mo at Happy New Year sayo 🎉🎉🎉
True Lot of California moving to Vegas. Read that You need Californian’s to bail Las Vegas out of crisis. Most of are paying cash from houses sold in Cali. How about the tourist industry is it surviving? Hopefully with COVID-19 Vegas will pull out of crisis in tourist you rely on. Seems Vegas over built. It’s hot there during summer months. 100 plus daily. Sorry to be negative on Vegas. I’m living in Bay Area too. Live here since 80’s. Not to brag have Bought houses and rental. As Kuya said the weather is plus. Minus it is expensive to live here. Plus Wild Fires lately. I’m bless to have my health so far and a job I could work from home. Just counting years for retirement. My opinion Reno or Carson NV. It’s not far from Bay Area. Near Lake Tahoe. Pray this Covid will end and our economy go back to way it was. Jobs , health, etc. Kuya love your videos especially the Bay Area or touring out of city. God bless all. Stay safe.
Hi po. Very informative vlog. I will be moving to SF fall of 2023 for my MBA. Anong neighborhood po kaya ang safe tirhan and budget friendly for a person who's never been to SF?
I lived in Vallejo and have been to SF, Fairfield, Daly and Suisun City. Nasa Southern California(SoCal) suburban area na ako, in between LA and San Diego, close to Orange County. Don't live in a big city in California para mas masarap ang buhay at tahimik. SF is too crowded at masyadong maraming homeless, parang L.A. Choose to live in a small or medium city in Calfornia and enjoy life. I retired in SoCal debt-free and I have no regrets. Kung hindi mimimum wage job mo sa US at sapat o sobra sa pangagailangan ng pamilya at walang utang, life is good in USA. Household goods, food, cars, electronics, appliances, shoes, utilities and clothes are CHEAPER in US than tha Philippines. *IF YOU ARE NOT EARNING 250K USD A YEAR OR MORE, MOVE OUT OF SAN FRANCISO PARA MAS MASARAP ANG BUHAY. SIMPLE AS THAT. There are THOUSANDS of cities and 50 States to choose from in USA. In US, you have to be smart in choosing job and location with lower cost of living and choose your career para mas mataas sweldo at hindi ka kayod-kalabaw at lubog sa utang. Ha-ha-ha-ha!*
@@ronnie_ano123 Welcome. My wife and I were going to retire in the Philippines but we changed our mind because we are debt-free, saved up and already have everything we need in SoCal, it is like being in the Philippines with better weather, better environment, better places to visit, peace/quiet and convenience in SoCal. Plus our son, all of our siblings and relatives are in US. Why go back to Pinas? *It is OK to take vacations there but not live there as my wife and I get stressed in Pinas but not here in SoCal or US in general. I get paranoid too when in Pinas because you always have to watch your back in Pinas so you do not get robbed or killed, and the weather sucks when your get out of your air-conditioned hotel or house. Not all stores and places have AC in Pinas, unlike here in US. Life is good in SoCal and anywhere in US once house and cars are paid off.* Shopping, online shopping and internet are much better in US. Food, goods appliances, cars, electronics and utilities are cheaper in US than Pinas, I did my research that is why we decided to stay in SoCal. Some retire in Pinas and come back to US after a few months or a year, they found out that Pinas is NOT what it used to be like in the 70s or 80s.
Looks like Daly City lol what made the PI born think it's easy to live the bay?? Got it Twisted. It's a better place to live compared to the PI but just gotta have a a good paying job.
@@ronnie_ano123 3rd world country tayo, di mo maii compare sa America.kaya tayo may pinakamaraming Ofw .
Hotel engineer ako for more than 30 years at noong 2016, lumipat ako dito sa San Francisco from Saipan. Thank you for supporting and following my channel, soon I will upload the life of hotel workers.
Ang hirap ng buhay sa California very expensive so I go to different stores just to save money with my groceries. I don't go to Sea Food City kasi expensive compares to some Asian stores.
@@Cal49ers Sure why not chalk not since work from home naman ako kapag pinayagan ako ng employer ko magwork sa Pinas with the same sahod sa California...I could live cheaply. 😎
O sabi mo same sahod sa California.
I worked in San Francisco for 20 years and it was beautiful then... cost of living is high, everything is expensive especially rentals or ownership... but the political left destroyed the city and in fact the whole of California up to a point that I don't step foot in that city anymore... example... there is an app to count the number of human and animal feces all over the city and it's disgusting.... disgraceful how the left destroyed a once beautiful city.... mahirap nga ang buhay (maski saan) pero mas maraming opportunity dito sa America... tamad ka na lang pag hindi mo pinaunlad ang buhay mo... tayong mga Filipino mag-survive dahil hindi tayo takot sa anumang trabaho.... kayod lang.. kunting ipon.... live within your means and you will be okay.... ang advice ko sa bagong salta...
