What a tremendous help this video was. I’m sure it was a pain in the rear moving the camera all over while doing your work, but certainly was helpful to the viewer. Thanks again for making this. It saved me a LOT of money!!!

Thank you for making this video. I need to do this on my 06 Buick Lucerne after I hit a deer. I was afraid to do it at first but after watching this I realized it's not that hard. Very very helpful!!!!

I have to say that this is one of the best videos that I have used for repair work. And the step by step instructions and descriptions were so helpful. I can’t even describe how grateful I am. Thank you for this.

You guys are rock stars. This video allowed me to take on the project with confidence. Buick made the job difficult. Blue collar garage made it possible.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate it. Most shops will say they need to discharge the a/c system and remove the condenser so I figured I’d show how’s it’s done without having to do that.

I cannot thank you enough. My dad and had to take all of this apart to replace the front bumper and more after I rear-ended a jeep. We had no clue where two brackets went due to it taking a couple months off after taking it apart. Your video has been amazingly helpful.

Good video, between you and a GM tech friend (my savior) I was able to get this done. I was doing a 2008 subjected to Minnesota salty winters, had a few broken bolts and rusty parts. Slipped getting up off the floor and broke my bottom parts of passenger headlight. I tested for leaks right after connecting radiator and trans lines, didn't want to wait for complete reassembly. The bumper assembly was intimidating, good to get some experience, and your video helped. Thanks. Onto trying some JB weld on headlight.

Glad I was able to help you out. GM didn’t make it very easy removing the radiator on these cars.

Good video. I just did mine this last summer. After you get the radiator out I suggest you inspect your transmission cooler lines and brake lines. They are prone to rusting thru. Better to catch them now when you have the front taken apart. Thank you for showing the Buicks. I get tired of seeing all the honda/kia repair videos :)

You sir are my hero. I followed you step for step and this video answered any possible question I could of had as well as guided me. I felt like you were right next to me instructing me on what to do next. I did have a minor issue getting my transmission cooling lines off. Not the actual clips off (though the bottom one was tedious). Mine were really stuck in there. I found that if I jockeyed them back and forth and up and down while I was pulling on them they came loose.

I have the exact car in black. My coolant is disappearing from the expansion bottle.No leaks on the ground after sitting. Ill fill the bottle before a road trip and come home to an almost empty container a few times already. Ive ordered a new bottle as its original from 2006 and pretty discoloured. I don't see any visible leaks of coolant sitting anywhere so Im assuming its leaking under pressure when driving. Im thinking it could be the coolant elbows which I will change when its warmer as well as check the hoses really well. I don't see any overspray or anything of coolant residue. I am so happy to have come across this video should I have to change the rad. They said it was impossible to change the rad in our 2009 F150 without evacuating the AC system and you bet I did. No issues and its been 2 years already with no AC issues. Anyways thank you so much for posting this with extreme detail and perfection.The lighting, sound and detail were perfect. I so appreciate you tubers like yourself who genuinely want to help.

Just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for this very detailed step by step video. I've got general knowledge on cars but these modern cars are rediculas on working on them. This job kinda makes me miss working on the older stuff for example only spending a couple of hours to change out a radiator. You have the only video on you tube that was very through. I have to change lower intermediate steering shaft as well so if you have any tips on taking lower kick panels apart on drivers side to acess would be helpful. I'm sure I'll figure it out but most of it is snap on but I'm guessing there are a few bolts hiding lol. I appreciate all your knowledge and by the way I got 2 bids on radiator and both quoted me like 800 and couldn't get around ac so thank you for that. Later

Where is my radiator bleeder located on my 2009 Buick Lucerne 3.9
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE Год назад
There is no bleeder valve you will just have to squeeze the upper radiator hose to help get all the air out and then drive it around and check the next morning eventually the air will work it’s self out in the coolant reservoir.
