I’m a old Mercedes enthusiast myself , but Now Buick has no sedans , SUVs made in China and Korea. Does the average Buick customer know any of that or they still think they are driving an American car built with American pride ?
@@studebricker2845 Actually, the Caprice did get the LT1 in '94, though perhaps it was an available option. For '94 to '96 the Chevy Caprice and Impala, Buick Roadmaster and Cadillac Fleetwood all had the SAME LT1 and 4L60E (electronic 700R4) drivetrains. With the exception of the Vista roof, the wagons are the same on the outside, but the Buicks have a nice interior with a lot more sound-deadening and standard luxury options. As for the Buick Roadmaster sedan, it is a real unique one-off, and unlike the Caprice guess what - the rear windows go ALL THE WAY DOWN! I own one, have a movie on replacing the A/C compressor, real nice ride, and tow 5,000lbs - find a modern sedan that can do that. Let me know if anyone wants a free PDF brochure for these, great reading. Keep 'er running - Cheers!~ Bellarmine
