Customer states Buick Rendezvous 3.4L is hard to start, dies at stops, and has bad smelling exhaust. Diagnosis leads to P0172, P0300 codes. Engine is flooded rich. Faulty FPR Fuel pressure regulator leaking into the vacuum port.
"I think, therefore I am." This was a good one, but why not douse the work area around the regulator with some cleaner first, to minimize the risk of contaminating the 'inner workings'?
