Great video. though i would suggest making an addition video on how to install the front derailleur for example. took me ages to figure it out :D

9:09 according to gates this what you should never ever do with a belt. otherwise it's not so "accurate" to adjust the belt tension without the seatstay joint.

I find it interesting that he uses alot of unnecessarily specialized tools. Attempting to insinuate that the average person is incapable of putting a bicycle together?

No unnecessary tools in the video, really. If anything, it’s simplified a little. For example I would use a torque wrench on the hollowtech crank, but he knows what he’s doing and it’s probably fine like this.
