Great video! FYI, if you want to lock a cell you can just press F4 while your cursor is touching the number or letter of the cell in the formula bar. You can cycle through locking the cell, row, or column by pressing F4 repeatedly. Also, if you want a dollar sign in the dividend column, you can put ("$ ")& in between the "=" and "if" at the beginning of the formula.

Thanks for the infos, i had to change the "," for ";" in the formulas in order for them to work, also i get the price in this format : 13,47 so i need to convert to 13.47 for the div yield to work.

Great tutorial and spreadsheet. One change I made was to add conditional formatting to the Price column so that it highlights the background in green if the price is within 10% of the 52 week low. Apply to range C2:C40 Format cells if.. Less than =J2:J40*1.1

Thank you for the great video, it was really helpful. I'd like to know if their is a way to fetch Forward P/E and PEG Ratios? I tried and it seems those 2 formulas are not available in Google finance right now.

I got a question about one pf your other videos. When i use the DCF model and a company has a negative cash flow some year. do i just put in for example: -10 000, or does that screw up the numbers. Because i think im doing something wrong when i get XOM to 1000 usd per share. Pls help, thanks.

Thanks for this. Some great additions to implement in my tracker. Any idea how I can pull through stocks from the London stock exchange. I can't seem to work out the ticker symbol that google finance is using to pull through eg National grid on London stock exchange I can't get it to pull through. Any ideas?

Yield formula is broken for me too, I get the full Dividend number "0.99 (0.47%)" instead of just the 0.99

I got eveything to work but the formula to pull in the industry - It doesn't even pull in the three words, just a dash.... I have double checked against your formula some 5 or 6 times, any thoughts?

I have the same issue. Does someone have a solution to this? Perhaps the Finviz interface changed and the industry requires a different formula structure.

I've just got a '-' appear when I add in the "industry" formula. No "error" message. But just a " - " symbol. Can anyone guide me on what I need to do to get the information?

@@Dividendology you could use FMP library. There is google sheets integration. formula: =fmpProfile(A2,"industry"). Here is the dividend: =fmpRatios("AAPL",1,,"dividendYield"). Very nce tutorial.

in some countries, I believe they use "," in the formula instead of ";". Sometimes vice versa.

@@Dividendology I found that the parsed %yield was text (and not a number), so none of the calculations on that column worked with the formula. When I converted it to a number, everything started working. The only downside I see is that parsing from finviz really takes a lot of time to me, and other operations on my sheet are much much slower. But it works 👍. Thanx😁
