Love everything you put out. 1 question I have is this is geared to the after tax investing. how do you incorporate the IRA/401k type investments. I have a large chunk in PTDJX, it does not have a set dividend rate but fluxes between 7.5% and 9% paid in Dec. But adding it to a tracker doesn't work so its hard to use in the forecasting along with my other 401k contributions.

I agree would be cool to hear how you set aside income did you do a little per paycheck when first starting? Did you get an Inheritance and start with a lot of money. Did you first trade stocks to make income to have substantial gains to be able to invest more for a dividend portfolio etc

Whats your mix of roth ira, trad ira, and standard brokerage account? Do you max out 401k, roth ira before you tap into standard brokerage. I love this tool I'd like to be able to separate accounts though... In terms of 401k I'd be satisfied with jsut having a simple box to enter monthly end balance and future contribution amounts. Fantastic tool. Nice work!

Q: Let's say i buy 100 shares of APPLE at "XXX" cost. Later i buy 100 more at another "YYY" cost. Will this spreadsheet just avg the cost between the 2 or will i have mulitiple instances of the same Stock in the "cost and market value"-Tab? Let's go even further and say i buy the same stock at 10 different pricepoints (like 10 different months), how would they all be included on the scheme without messing with the data already included and without making 10 entries by the same company..

You simply list your average buying price and the amount of shares that you own!

@@Dividendology Wouldn't it make funny calculations about the dividens? If i buy 100 stocks of Apple in june 2022 and another 100 in april 2023, then i didn't recieve dividens from the last added stocks (from april 2023) until april 2023 or later depending on the dividend payment date. Mayby if you add how many stocks you recived dividend from each time you recieve those dividen that would solve that problem, or as tObakken1337 wrote, several lines possible for the same stockticker in the stocks-tab.

Yep, there are actually tons of advantages. Google sheets has different types of formulas that make it easier to import live data, making the tracking process much more automated.

Google sheets operates on iPads so it will work! I occasionally use my phone for it, but it is better on computer. I’m sure it would be much better on iPad than my phone.

Same, as soon as you include European Stocks and ETF's I'm going to subscribe to your patreon. For now, I've used your 1 year old video on how to create that dashboard, and changed the URLs from finviz to other trackers that work with EU stocks. But of course it's just the basic dashboard and not the entire toolkit you're showing here.
