you can also use neo magnets to hold it in place alot cleaner with no screws showing on ya panel piece. but great video i would have done somethings different but each to their own, you got this
good points. I think I looked at the Neo magnets but the ones I saw were pretty pricy. I actually was wanting those ones but this was better suited to my budget.
The trunk floor was level for the most part so the mdf floor sheet sat level. But I did add some MDF shims where it was not perfectly level. The whole unit is screwed and pin nailed together. The top of the sides is tucked tightly against the top of the trunk gutter. The trunk hinges structure also allowed me to make a notch in the rear mdf panel to keep it from shifting side to side. I did add two screws into the rear just to keep it from sliding around.
