I'm building a forest house using only hand tools. I use hand tools ax, saw, knife, wire, nippers and sickle-shaped knife . Bushcraft - asmr . Have a good time.

So for anyone wondering, the straw strengthens the mud, quite like rebar and concrete mix, a lot of bushcrafters forget this part, but it could mean the different between a strong breeze knocking down your wall and a good nights rest. :D Great build. Be careful if doing this though, make sure you don't cap a root from grass or wild vege's in there, onions growing inside your house sounds comically great but the roots can and will tear your building apart, just last year I had ivy break through the concrete of my brick wall, and that was concrete. Plants are strong.

Nice video. Early buildings in Africa were built like that and still are. Including my grandparents home which is almost one hundred years old today. Unfortunately i lost it during the anti colonial land grab despite it being 100km from any road or settlement or human being. We did not steal land from anyone. My great grandfather was paid for fighting in the 1st world war with this pathetic offering from a nameless government.., We cut the road to it ourselves and planted just 100 acres of vegetables and produce to sustain ourselves.

I’d build a cabin using the trees already in the ground , where there was moving water 💦. To generate my own electricity. Facing the sun ☀️. And make the roof , with high peaks for solid energy , and then build crops flowers all over ,and trap my fish using rocks in the lake, and take baths in the lake too , and do dishes there , and have a outdoor kitchen 😊😀🤗. The only problem is the rattle snakes 🐍

Much love and appreciation from Tennessee! I stumbled on your video as I was gathering materials to construct a shelter in case of an emergency. I read the comment about a tent. I am a former winter mountaineering guide and tents are great but they will not stand for years and don't try to light a fire inside to keep warm......you will A- light your tent on fire and escape or tragically B- perish due to carbon monoxide inhalation. Just don't do it. Anyways, I wish you were here in the states, I would love to host you for a week and pay you for your knowledge. Thank you very much for sharing this with us for free. Have you heard of hot tent camping? Check out Luxe tents. There are other options too like wall tents that you can set up a wood stove inside in the winter. What part of TN are you in. I am in Dalton GA and want to explore bushcraft and set up a permanent stealth camp like this.
