I love that “You can’t do that” is not in your vocabulary. Looks like I’ll be redoing my freighter base again! Thanks for all your hard work in creating these vids!
Dear Beeblebum. Landing pads installed on rear deck. More importantly staircase going down 1.2 levels from upper deck to hull installed successfully. Thanks man.
@@Z.DeAllen Yes and no. NPCs can use them, but when I tried this on two other freighter (two different saves) the freighter rendition went insane creating walls everywhere. Cosmetic for the player, useable for game characters.
So many glitches, would be nice if they just gave us these in game so we don't have to glitch things like this, would make building things much less of a hassle. Almost need to make a spreadsheet, flow chart on all glitches to remember them all.
Wow I found this crazy. My head became pretty sore about half way through.. 😳 even though your explanations are incredibly detailed but very understandable. Very impressive creativity you've shown to us here. I'll go back to my game for now & save this for sure. We'll done! I'll definitely come back when I'm ready to try it on my console. Thank you 👍🏼
Finally, that glitch has a name. Slide glitch. Nice one, my friend. You know that you can use this glitch to expand your freighter to beyond construction area. Love your new “wire-glitch” on freighter. One more thing, not sure if you know about it - you can select freighter colours (tech room, change colour), then apply it on any other object (square on PS4/PS5). This reverse freighter colour-glitch gets you a very interesting new-ish colour range, especially on some parts.
Honestly more work than I have time for, but the results were looking amazing on the stream, truly unique. Take care, thanks for the detailed walk through.
MIND BLOWN!! Hopefully, the Freighter building fixability will develop to the point that these type of Glitch building technics, wont be necessary... love the space tho!
Completely insane. I would be happy if the build menu gave me one landing pad and if I could put it on the rear deck of my freighter. In my best Darth Vader voice: Impressive. Most impressive.
What in the actual F! 😱I was prepared for "some glitches", but this is beyond my comprehension for now. I'm just a rookie glitch builder for now (bringing freighters' corridors to my planet) lol
@@dethvyper3136 Yeah I'm not one to build elaborate bases either, I like to go explore and find stuff, then maybe build a farm base when I find a nice exotic planet.
Took this on as my first attempt at glitch building. Took rewatching this videos too many times, and a whole evening. BUT it is done and I'm very happy with it!! Safe to say I learned a lot :) though I still don't get where I went wrong with my wall placements :( they started off lower than the wall I made with the tutorial and I had to move the walls up 2 lightboxes and in 2 as well to get them to line up. So confused. I even checked multiple times I made the corridor on the higher and not the lower floor parts.
Wow, this is a lot better than using entire rooms/corridors to create walls for multileveled areas. I will never cease to be impressed with the glitch building techniques that people come up with. Thank you for sharing this! I am curious about your hangar shown in the final clip: what building part is being used as the supports/scaffolding?
WOW! Amazing! This is something i'll have to come back to and watch and do step by step. This looks like something that will take a very long time to do. I'm saving the page can't wait to try this. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this, beeble 😸, it took me about 2 hrs...but i finally mastered both the adjacancy/wire glitches!!! My bases look ACE now! Love your content
I was thinking... Oh, did they cloned Beeble ? There are 2 now... I would buy or take another clone for myself, only to have a Master Glitch Builder. The Guide comes exactly thr right time for me. Thank you very much Mister Beeblebum oh... thanx to both of you!
I think that it’s sort of a shame how Hello Games doesn’t have this type of building as an actual feature Just imagine how fun it would be if the game allowed you to build like this without glitches!
Base building has been overhauled once before i believe in the future they will overhaul it again. Base building is amazing right now but the scale is still relatively small in terms of building and room size. I believe we'll see an update although maybe small that will simply allow for more complex building techniques without glitches
@@TheAdaoo7 it's too frustrating to place things correctly still. Glitches are fun for a 0.01% of dedicated builders but turn off the near entirety of players.
@Fox Mulder agreed. The free cam building mode makes it 10x easier but it still needs refined a lot. As amazing as hello games progress with nms is, i wish they'd focus more on expanding and polishing existing mechanics rather than adding new content every single update
Any chance you can drop in a landing pad? I know you'd have to go through the extra effort of dropping in a base computer in order to access it, but I'm curious if you could summon in your ship...? Seeing as how the freighter builds aren't visible outside of the ship, so you couldn't see it coming in, but I'm guessing you might be able to summon it while on the ship.
I have been working and testing on some potential solutions. And I think I found something that probably will work. If so, I will record and make a guide about it. 😊
I wish the dev's would just code in a part clipping option and grid tools. It's lame that the functionality to do these types of builds exists, but that you have to use silly exploits to do it.
Doing wire glitches seems easier if I set the game's frame limiter to 30 fps instead of the usual 240 I play on. I wonder if that would also make the slide glitch easier to do.
Hey Beeble, my hangar sounds like a rainforest? Dripping water? What did i screw up? Ive check walls and floors all line up nicely, its really anoying.
I remember others telling me this, It has been a while I was in my hangar to double check. But it would not surprise me the game is confusing the hangar with a cave... Or, maybe you used a building part that has that soundeffect?
You can glitch landing pads, but they will not show up on your freighter when approaching it. And if you call in your ship from the landing pad terminal it glitches out and causes some real weird visual issues.
hello, how did you connect the decor in the beginning of the video perfectly one into the other while maintaining a large size, and mirrored it on the ceiling ?
Using the Cachepin glitch, you can glitch whatever you like. Just be aware that landing pads for ships only work partially and kind off break the graphics. Cachepin glitch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-He_zQSpqAbA.htmlsi=GzKRW54AsEv_MtXA
With the Endurance update you can now simply build a door to just go outside the Freighter. But if you want more info on how we do it without doors check out this guide: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-69WsPRBHezI.html
in order to do all the walls u had to do it from scratch every time starting form the teleporter cables? isnt there a way that i can make 1 corner have to directions of tp cables so i i can only do it twice?
I'm on xbox one-s, and i can never seem to get it to work, i just keep getting the 'wire' to appear instead of the part i want! i press 'Y' and 'RT' together put only the wire appears, not the platform. i found you can 'GLITCH' a room underneath so it looks like a floor, but you can't put the steps down, or enter those rooms from above using a ladder... I tried. I would love someone on xbox to post a step by step of how to wire glitch, showing them how you press the buttons/triggers etc, for all us dummies who can't figure it out.
Anyone else having problems with the floors being used as walls coming out diagonally instead of flat with the regular floor? I can’t seem to get them to line up properly.
