@@Wilson84KS 2 stroke opposed piston diesel engines could be the future. They can achieve close to 60% percent efficiency! A regular gas engine can ONLY barely achieve 25%!!!!! Its crazy. Since they are opposed piston AND 2 stroke, that means they can be A LOT smaller, because they almost make 2x the power of a 4 stroke, which means better gas milage. Also these 2 strokes are NOT like 2 strokes on dirt bikes which burn oil. These opposed piston 2 strokes actually have a SEPERATE oil tank which makes them environmentally friendly AND much more durable than a regular 2 stroke. A car with an opposed piston engine can be MUCH lighter and have MUCH higher gas milage than an electric car
