Build a Rigger RC Boat 70km/h - Tutorial 

this is one of the moost useful videos i have ever watched

The pipes are for cooling purpose. It is called water cooling system. Water enters in the pipe from bottom and gets out from side. Otherwise the boat will heatup intensively as there are no ventilation ports.

nice. however, the stress points are not reinforced. just stick few cm2 of wood in the right places where it's need the most, like where spars join the wood or at the corners

If your into Rc like myself who build and work on my own rigs you'd know the parts hes using are actually pretty inexpensive comparatively speaking. He's using a 30$ motor and the Motor"S" on my miss Gico are more then a 100$ each. Most expensive parts are probably the battery. I'm gonna take his design to the next level. Really great video!

What a nice fast rigger, I wish I could build one as nice as that. I am testing my Volantex Atomic speedboat tommorow, first time on 4S battery, shoud be really fast!!! I doubt I could build one as nice so will look out for one for sale on ebay.

What is the purpose of the tubing? I see it goes from the rudder into the hull and maybe to the motor? Then to the outside of the hull? I saw the builder blow into it several times during assembly without any effect on the rudder so what the heck is it?

there ya GO! just about the same size shape and speed I was getting in 1989 running a 14D 05 size brushed motor, Octura X432 prop, Dumas 1/8" shaft, on 9.6v 3/4 sub C pack had to assemble myself. clocked (radar) at 36 and 37 MPH, about 60 kph. for it's day crazy fast. today you can get much more using 3650 (05 size) 5000kv swinging 35-38 mm prop, build same hull but about 15% larger. simple tip, put clear mylar packaging tape down bottom of your sponsons, then use a little car wax makes them SUPER slippery, it helps!
