How to Build a 125cc Shifter Kart at Home - DIY F1 Gokart v3 - Tutorial - Video Upgrade with OffRoad Tires : • Upgrade F1 Gokart v3 w... Thanks for watching, Have a great day !
the beauty of this channel is because the videos are "mute" art, you don't speak a word and everybody in the world can watch and appreciate without restrictions such as language. Thanks for the content, keep it up
Language of demonstration, can be understood by anyone who can see. Your comment made some connections to me. It is easier to explain by not saying anything, but to demonstrate it physically.
I like the way that he mounted the motor and made the angle “tray” to hold the caliper and braces. Everything looks sleek and tight. I like the exhaust stabilizer also.👌
@@takumifujiwara3223 yea but I’m pretty sure that’s a automatic moped motors going into the go kart, they have them all around china, and the reason why I know is becuz of how the Shifter lever was shaped before he had cut em.
crazy russian hacker: uses safety goggles for unboxings this guy: uses sandals and a shirt to weld and cut iron bars not roasting, huge respect for this guy!
There's nothing more annoying than having to hand-screw something together ru-vid.comUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn except for the pain in your wrist that is. This addition to my tool kit is great and I can get a lot done without all the pain and annoyance. The battery last's a long time and I have yet to run out of power when doing a small project (granted I am saying small project because I'm no construction worker). The only thing that I wish it had was an LED or pair of LEDs to indicate when it was charging and whether or not the charge was complete (or full).
I would love to do this same exact build at home this summer. I have the garage space, I just need the tools, materials, and patience. Seriously though, as a complete beginner, I understand it might not be recommended to suddenly try and build a kart, but I'm fascinated by this.
Why not... just do it.. if anything you will learn. You think this guy or anyone else did it in first try? It takes trial and error... try with small lawn mower engine if you cannot find a good one... I wanted to make on too but with my 600CC bike engine.. but I do not have space lol. I have a garage but I dont have much space left to do all this experiments. But you should try if you got space
Get at it man. I'm starting my first build this weekend. Gonna keep it simple a d each one after will get bigger a d a little more out there. Already got an engine for my first big build which will be a drift trike but that's gonna be a few months out. Figured to get comfortable with it first and learn some things so I don't get burned out right away in something that was out of my league
It wasn’t a circular saw, it’s a chop saw. Ask for the circular saw at a job site and they’ll throw a skil saw at you. Not the same but who cares it’s been a few years .😂
This build is better than 99% of homebuts karts, of course not including Cad designed crosskarts, but karts made in garages for backyards and some off road riding. I;m also impressed that , that little engine has reverse.
No he is not. He just owns a garage with metal things. There is literally nothing hard to make go kart. I have a lot of designs and drawings about machines and other mechanics but sadly i dont have much money and garage to make my ideas come true.
@@the1831 congrats on replying to a 2 year old post. Really. Designs and drawings are not going to get you anywhere in live if you don't have the metal work, fab, and engineering skills your not going to be able to make spit. I see so many people in the industry that thanks if they go out and get 1000s of dollars in equipment they magically know what to do and thing they will know how to use them. Don't down someone elses work until you actually know how to do the work your self. If not you don't have the skills to appreciate the time and work its self. Also something else that's a cancer in any profession. Anyway. Thank before you speak. Cheers mate ✋
No CAD, all straight from the mind! Wow! Hats off to you sir. I want to build this with my kids 😀. In another build consider adding springs for shock and vibration damping.
should be added that while welding the mounting point of the sprocket to the axle, e welded with the ungloved hand, and spun the wheel with the gloved hand, never know when those tyres mught bite back!
it has always been a goal to make one of these shifter karts and im 14 and i finally got it finished the other day only diffrence is mine has independent front suspension and swing arm suspenion in the back same motor n everything this video helped alot
Well at the same time maybe people would be more interested in watching if there weren’t so many commercials! Then he’d make more off of less commercials!
Awesome althoughy design and characteristics were different, FINALLY SOMEONE designed an idea I had for a decade and a half although there is a few changes I want to add, and would have been a whole lot different, this is very well respected but that's not to mention the guys craftsmanship, that's uncompared excellence!
Cool but if u ever build a "next version" of this, try out these features: 1. Make something like steering ratio, with chain and 2 sprockets or just 2 gears, for more steering wheel turn degrees - like 45° on front wheels equals 360° on a steering wheel (idk how to say it correct, hope u get it) 2 .Add some +castor angle to the front (for self-steering/better countersteer) 3. Change direction of sequential shifter. 4. 3 pedals + E-brake. 5.Some weight distribution? Would be sick af drift cart
@@Gregg0112 I was gonna say that this whole drifting only starts to work when there is front axel brakes, how else do want to make the rear come around?
I only question go kart tyres The engine is an easy task to obtain in Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Indonesia has so much motorcycles), basically all you have to do is get a decrepit bike
@@ManjulaBandara "shifter cart engine" it's not a shifter kart engine it's probably just a simple 150cc Chinese engine. There's no such thing as a shifter kart engine. Just a motor. That's probably the reason there isn't one in your garage...
You should take off the pvc sleeves of the rear tires the engine has enough touque to make it drift at low speeds without it, it'll also be much safer at high speed
Not only is it easier on the clutch but the axel welds are only so strong and enough torque repeatedly could snap them and loosen the bolts from vibrations. That said I would still take the sleeves off if it were me.
I believe he did a brilliant job and the proof is the end result! He doesn't appear to have the machinery and tools that some of the "more perfect " RU-vid channel's have ie lathes, milling machines and cnc machines etc and makes do with a cut-off saw a welder and drill! The finished build is rather cool and a whole lot of fun! Also he wears the same safety boots that are traditionally spotted in the average Australian male's garage/shed! I myself thank him for the inspiration and his clever ideas! Well done mate!
Watched this with some of RU-vid's "Epic Music" playing in the background... needless to say it was a fantastic experience and I've been thinking of doing this with my old bike. Thank you kindly
Well I think that he just gathered all the parts needed before starting a project. It will be boring to show him buying all the parts then start the project.
well i certainly think he did a great job....what he did is so amazing and inspiring and i'm inspired to the last degree....only if i had access to those materials i would surely make one.....that is super amazing...i love his work infinitely.........he should keep on making more videos
@@Pandadancypant OOF number 7 would burn my eyes. I usually go as dark as I can. Guess it also depends on what and how your welding. I use some of the thinner welding gloves myself. I also can't stand bulky gloves, with no feel.
@@nocturnal0072 I have a darker lense I flip em. It has a hinge. Initt spark is blinding but on I get the bead going I can switch to the 7. And I used a thicker glove on my leading hand. Got burned like twice.
@@nocturnal0072 I use a light one too. Probably somewhere around a 7, dunno, I have a dial. Hard for me to see what I'm doing with some obnoxiously dark shade on :-\.
Hi. I'm a big fan of yours. I might be going to Vietnam this December and I am hoping to meet you and shake your hand for the fantastic work you have done!
Amazing stuff Work on the welds! If your tig machine has pulse setting and if you aren't good at tig try the pulse setting with higher amps than usual. Clean your stainless before welding, it'll go a long way
*Best small powered screwdriver made **MyBest.Tools** Holds charge well and is really strong and powerful. Charges quickly too. Adjustable handle is a real plus.*
@@Heidegaff you work in a company car or you have your own working shop? Given with space, tools, resources as with the guy in this video, can you make an actual car? I bet this guy given a chance to work in company car, can build a supercar.
You must be some kind of Genius I say that in a good way because every time I watched all of your videos I get smarter I think I might be your number one fan LOL
gobsmacked, those plastic drain rear tyre covers look deadly, secondly how did you weld what looks like an alluminium floor pan with a mig welder , then where did you get a bike engine with reverse in the gearbox, i will never be the same again !! I'm in awe of this beautifull machine, best wishes, dave.
