I can't add the finished hero section to a blog post. I type /elementor like you showed on the video at 21:27 but elementor library doesn't show up. How can I fix this?

Is it possible to tinker with the CSS or spacing so that each section aligns vertically with each other? Right now if I have a title that is 2 or 3 lines, it pushes everything down and the buttons and images don't align with each other.
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite Год назад
Yes, you just need to either 1) set justify-content to space-between or set the flex-grow property of a child element to 1, so it will expand to fill the available space

What I'm having trouble understanding is what if you wanted to make every top product in the hero group dynamic? I understand how you did Kadence, but what if you wanted to make Astra, Blocksy, and OceanWP dynamic?
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite Год назад
You would have custom fields for each ranking position. E.g. Product1Name, Product1logo, product1link, product2name, product2logo, product2link etc...

Great tutorial. You just earned a new subscriber! I followed your tutorial until it was time to create the Hero section. I’m using blocksy premium, but I’m not seeing the option in the Appearance menu that says “elements”. I’ve been looking, but I’m not seeing anything. What can I do to resolve this? I’d appreciate your help bro
@BuildThatWebsite

Elements are specific to Generatepress theme. Blocksy Pro has a very similar feature called 'Content Blocks'. creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/extensions/content-blocks/

Yes, you could do it with Generateblocks, or Kadence blocks. It might take some practice to learn how to build complex designs with those plugins but it is definitely doable. I'm going to do a generateblocks tutorial soon

when i type visit website theyre on two different lines how can i make it so its on one
@BuildThatWebsite

The easiest way is to set min-width on the button and make sure its parent container is large enough to hold it.

The products show up vertically in mobile but horizontally in desktop, how do I make them show up horizontally in mobile
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite 9 месяцев назад
You'd just have to adjust the responsive settings for the columns holding the cards. I really can't imagine a scenario where you wouldn't want them to stack on mobile though.
@Digitalcataloghub
@Digitalcataloghub 9 месяцев назад
i created a 5 card design but each is too thin how can i make them wider
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite 9 месяцев назад
You just need to widen the outer container that holds them. You can also decrease spacing between cards if that's an option.
@Digitalcataloghub

can iadd this on my posts and still use other plugins or is it only elementor or plugins
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite 5 месяцев назад
You can use elementor alongside other plugins. If you want to use Gutenberg for the post content, you would need to add the Elementor Layout either through a theme hook or using the template shortcode inside Gutenberg.

@@BuildThatWebsite how much does elementor slow down the website and is their a way around this
@BuildThatWebsite
@BuildThatWebsite 5 месяцев назад
These days Elementor is quite fast on good hosting. They've made a lot of improvements regarding code size and asset loading. You can improve it further with proper caching and a CDN. There are plenty of Elementor sites on the web with load times under 1.0 seconds.

Yes, Kadence Blocks works with any theme. You won't get the themebuilder features like GenerateBlocks, but you shouldn't need it for one-off pages. Can you share an example of a TPG layout you're trying to emulate?
