Very commonsence approach. Great job! I have a one inch lip on my kitchen to living room transition that is variablethat will do nicely now that I have seen this
It would’ve been nice to see the threshold run through the saws and planer. The explanations were good but visuals are helpful. Thanks for showing how to do it 😃
They say a picture paints a thousand words! Perhaps your clients didn't want you filming the job but it would have been see the actual job site, the fitting and end result?!
yes I built this for a contractor so I had no pics to show of the fit but was told it fit just as they needed it to. Thanks for watching and checking out my channel
Hi, can you tell us the size of the thickness of your transition strip? I would like to know more how much did you reserve for the part of strip that is laying on the higher level of the transition, in [mm] if it's possible. Thank you!
The top portion was about 1/4 " thick. It needs to be just thick enough that it will not split off so it will depend a little bit on the material you use to build it.
Hello, i need a ramp/reducer exactly like this about 11 feet long. Where are you based out of. It would be great if i could pay you to make me one for a customers job im preparing to tile. Thank you. Hope to jear back from you. Im in Florida.
I am in the columbia SC area so probably a bit far to come and get one from me. I would be happy to help you out with one if you want to drive here to pick it up.
I ran the wood through the band saw at about 6 minuit mark to get the bevel. I did just show the setup and not pushing it through. If you need more clarification let me know and I will try to get a video showing it for you.
