How can the son be black if both parents are white? Do the parents need to have black ancestors so the gene can manifest? IS the gene recessive, meaning it has a 25% chance to manifest? We learned about the Punnett Square a long time ago but I still couldn't figure out how it works. Who was the black ancestor?

Never wanted to be a car mechanic, still dunno crap about cars. So anyway I’m an industrial mechanic for factory equipment. Completely different hahaha

@@PurpleTT99 Covid: Increased demand for lumber from people stuck at home who decided to work on projects, increased demand from people boarding up stores and shops due to riots. Decreased supply due to covid restrictions at plants and shutdown of Canadian border combined with a wet winter on the east coast effecting ability to procure trees. Now manufacturers get almost double the price for products. If they kill themselves to ramp up production they will turn a temporary profit until the market levels out or they can stay where they are and ride it out.

I almost spit out my coffee when you said painting the cabinets was only $1800. I paid that much for the painting of my entire 2,000 sq ft house… if I was in your shoes and I had the money to do so and it was apart of my career I would absolutely pay for it too! I haven't come across a carpenter that likes paint prep and painting. I started painting back in 77 as 14 year old. To us painters the prep and Finnish are both highly enjoyable . Happy painter makes a beautiful paint job. On the other end of the spectrum we are the last workmen the client's deal with. I had a client that had a ideal of some antique Finnish on her stunning kitchen island. She had no pics of what she wanted just the look in her minds eye. When she came back a few days later when i called her. She walked in looked it over and started crying. All i can say is my heart just sunk i ruined her stunning island. Then she said it was exactly what she wanted and i got the biggest hug i ever got from a client!

13:35 If the foreman is smiling, the job is done correctly. Thank you for mentioning the materials cost. That is helpful and useful information that is generally not stated in other videos. As a Disabled Veteran living on a fixed-income, knowing the approximate costs of projects is helpful to me. Oh, I think your son needs to help you in future projects. He was an excellent foreman.

Structurally and paint-wise, it looks great. But after watching so many "desk setup" videos from computer geeks on RU-vid, I'd say you need to add several LED light strips to illuminate things better in there so it will be inviting and brighter on gloomy days and nights. Your cabinets in the in-wall alcove could use some internal LEDs to make it brighter in there. You could also add an LED strip under the window sill above the desk to brighten that area up as well.

amazing job!! loved that 2 part. also the best way to scribe into a wall is to put a small washer flat against the wall, put your pencil in the in the middle hole and guide the washer down the wall. 100 percent every time!!
