If you don’t have a power mod just when you order from Chloe leave a note in the order that you plan to not have a mod and just use the board and she’ll send you a longer cord to plug into the board in a slot right next to the battery box cable
on modelmodz i found not the blinking light if kitt speak have they just the monitor as mod but not kitt voice the red button that blinks if he speak...

I don't get it, why don't they make K.I.T.T the same as it is in the series? The dashboard that you get with it makes no sense, you only see yellow light, all details of the graphics disappear as soon as you turn on the dash. For that money they ask you, they could do a better job. Now you have to buy the mods, on top of the price, those mods are not cheap either. When KITT is finished you will have spend almost 2000 dollars.But...it looks awesom though !
Mods are optional and yes the models are expensive and adding mods will increase that but if you have the money then I say its well worth it to have a model that you are proud of and happy with

You will need a dedicated power line to the screens, I wouldn't recommend that batteries are used as they will not last long, if you did a power mod you could use a USB power bank which will last longer, there are quite a few animations I haven't counted or sat and watched all of them.
I've a question, how long it took to arrive your mod since you order? I'm waiting for 8 months for my Flux Capacitor and Xtree for my delorean from Modelmodz...
I have done the flux capacitor, there is a lot of work involved with that, I opted for the unpainted kit which was much quicker to get to me, maybe 4-6weeks, the dash mod for KITT took some time from order to delivery as I ordered on the pre-order release but from when I was told the batch was ready I had it within a couple weeks or so
@@WillsWorkshop I understand that take a lot of work, but 8 months?! I hear all but good things from Modelmodz but I'm worry they forgot about my orders....I try to reach them by e-mail but no answer, reaching by WhatsApp they said they'll give a update soon, it been two weeks.... 👀👀

hi Will, im only at stage 11-14 but have prepared my dash with silver paint and light block on the panels. If i buy this mod now and install it can i test it out with the supplied battery power cable or does it have to go to the board? I know mike lanes version has a test mode but not sure about chloes! cheers.
There is a signal cable that goes to the board that tells the screen to power up and a separate power supply cable, I'm not sure if you could test them off the car completely.
@@WillsWorkshop saw some people make there cars rc. Then I thought well how cool would it be to not only see where you were driving KITT on your remote but neat if you had replay on the dash.
