Make sure to dig a small trench leading away from the pond so that when it gets too full, the extra water will have somewhere to go. Plus you can cover the drain with a simple bamboo mesh so the fish and other small creatures can't be flushed out. You might even be able to divert water from a nearby waterfall with some bamboo half pipes into your water collecting bowls too.
Rabbit poo, if you get enough of it, dry it, powder it and spread it around your vegetables, make them grow like mad. Best fertilizer around, rabbit poo. Need more rabbits than that, though. About eight or ten.
