This was a great tutorial. I actually hadn't even touched the foundation tool yet so I really appreciate knowing the quirks ahead of time.

I forgot to add in, the hotkeys for rotating an object you're holding is "Q" and "E" OR "" I'll update this if there are any other hotkeys I can find :)

Thanks for the tutorial! I do have one question... does anyone know why I am unable to place objects up against the walls of my house? I'm struggling to place a bed or kitchen counters as they don't seem to like being up against anything. Edit: On closer inspection, it seems to only be when using the "Comfy Bed" item. Maybe this is just a glitch with that particular item?

I had some issues with counters as well and larger furniture items. In my particular case it seemed as if the furniture couldn't recognize which level the walls were on, so if I tried to place a bed upstairs where there was a wall downstairs, it would act as if the bed was intersecting a wall.

The demo does seem to have quite a few bugs still. During the playtest demo there was quite a bit of feedback on not being able to place certain objects up against the walls. Vivaland has an official discord where you can report bugs, hopefully they'll iron things out for early access

That definitely sounds like a bug/not intended, there is a Vivaland discord where you can report bugs like that! I'm sure things will continue to be refined overtime

The demo is currently for PC only however the devs have said the game engine does support consoles so there is a possibility in the future of bringing the game to console :)
