Building tips from the Creative Producer of Vivaland | Devlog #2 

A couple additions I think would be awesome after playing around with the builder... - Higher customizability within roofing, I would love to be able to use the roof interiors as rooms (essentially as another floor to decorate) which would open up lots of fun possibilities. Maybe making a custom roof tool for more advanced building in addition to the pre-fab roofs? -Exterior wall trim would be very fun to play around with, especially when trying to replicate historical styles. -I would love more texture options for walls/floors/roofs/etc., also the option to customize the color of a texture, wood for example, could add a huge range of possibilities with fewer options. - I would love the ability to import personal photos from my computer into the game to use as wall décor - Re-sizeable windows would be great. - A better solution to the "invisible walls" for creating balconies would be nice, I don't like that the grid walls they create are permanent (from what I have experienced). Maybe a tool specifically for extending the floor of an upper level for this purpose could be a better solution? I really enjoy the builder so far and I appreciate how much you value user feedback!

Well, thank you. This video is interesting as it shows you are listening. I will give Vivaland another try. By the way, that tiny house looks great! You used the colours I like.

This was a great video, well put together and well worth it. You guys are great listeners of criticism and listening to reviews, you are very specific instead of vague about the criticism you will address which is very helpful for fan and reviewer concerns. Also random but you guys including the video editor have a great sense of humor :), this video had nice fun moments!

I am wondering if we will be able to edit the freezes and roof trims in the future like in The Sims4. It really helps to give the builds a specific architectural vibe. So far the build mode feels very contemporary and modern. I would love to be able to build more historical architectural styles like victorian houses. The Demo as is doesn’t have tools that allow us to replicate historical styles with precision. That would be great if you can work on those features.

Very nice! I am not much a builder in stimulation games, but could try for this one. I absolutely love furniture and decorations. They look realistic, not cartoony. Can't wait for this game!

I think they meant an eyedropper tool to choose colors from things. Because sometimes you forget to save the colors you make.

Could you add motion matching to the characters movements (walk, run, turnaround, etc.), so their locomotion animations can be more smoother.

Thank you for the update ! A suggestion would be the possiblity to add Windows on roof's walls and use the roof's floor as a normal room ! Wish you the best !

I hope game in future to see open world cars pets and season we don’t have it in sims 4 and I can’t wait to play the game when it come out

suggestion to add feature: mirroring/flip the props suggestions to add deco: - baby stuff - posters - kids toys - cutleries - pans

Szia Fanni! Én is remélem, hogy a játék bővülni fog és ami a már meglévő játékoknál szerepel azt átveszitek a kényelmesebb kezelés érdekében. Az építés ettől még egész jó és alakul, amint a videóban lévő hibák és megjegyzések javítva lesznek, úgy a játék is sokkal kezelhetőbb lesz az építésnél. A kis kiegészítő részek meg sokat dobnak a környezeten, főleg akkor, ha ezek még használati tárgyak is lesznek, de egyelőre ennyire előre nem mennék, mert rendkívül nehéz lenne ehhez is fizikai modellt rendelni. Amit látok az viszont tetszik és remélhetőleg sikerül még tovább fejleszteni, amint megjelennek a játszható karakterek is, úgy még inkább érdekes lesz, hogy miből mennyit és hogy adsz hozzá. Gondolom olyan teszteket már csináltatok, hogy megnézitek hány karaktert bír el egyszerre a világ és hogy egy képernyőn hány lehet a maximális Viva. Könnyebb lesz utána balanszolni a dolgokat.

Cant wait to see the finish project, Please add Pets 2 in the game and all the stuff what we need for our pets.

You need to make it so individual walls and floor tiles can be customized. And please also make it so stairs can be made wider.

you should add a feature for viewing the grid only in the main lot area, the grid all over the terrain was kinda confusing, not the end of the world, but if the DEVs have the time to add during the development or some months after launch.

Немного косячно, но это всё ещё игра в разработке 🤔 Мб к релизу сделают автоматическую постройку стен по очертанию фундамента и свой свет для интерьера. Ещё, интересно, это только я, или окна и двери такие широкие, будто растянуты? :/ как-то неприятно выглядят
