Now let's break down the steps.
Start by standing with your feet hip width apart. Bend your knees and push your hips back as if you're sitting on an invisible chair. Keep your back straight, chest up and your weight on your heels. Then push through your heels to return to the standing position.
However, squats can be tricky and it's easy to make mistakes.
Avoid leaning forward, lifting your heels, or letting your knees cave in. These common errors can hinder your progress and put you at risk of injury.
So remember, form is key to getting the most out of your squats.
Moving on to exercise number two, the powerful deadlift.
This is one of those foundational exercises that works multiple muscle groups at once, making it a highly effective strength training move.
Here's how it's done. Begin with your feet hip width apart, the barbell over the middle of your feet. Bend at the hip to grip the bar, keeping your shoulder blades directly over it.
