Great video Hans and I like the different tech options you provided based on how the game is progressing. When I’m going this line of play, and skipping lufftwaffe Kompanie for Jaegers, I personally like to rush up to Tier 4 ASAP so that I can grab Stosstruppen as I’m also churning out P4s like you suggested. It’s been very helpful in my games, especially because the reserves just don’t scale as well against the allied infantry into the late game.
Yeah getting Stosstruppen late game with panzer IVs definitely helps the late game where the coastal reserves aren’t cutting it vs elite allied infantry.
I'm missing a mention about the command bunker giving a 15% damage reduction aura to *all* units. it does not apply to itself, but it can give the damage reduction to other command bunkers. this is how your bunker line can survive even the USF heavy bombardment call in. also probably mentioning that your artillery officer also reduces the cooldown of your nebel barrages by 30% passively, as long as you keep them in the same area. I've been playing something similar for group games exclusively, but i'll be sure to try this one out as well. thanks for the guide!
210 mm howitzer could have been mobile, however Heavy guns of 201/305 mm caliber were often put in 3 carriages and assembled at site. Or on a railroad with 360 degree rotation emplacement,
Did you play DoW 3 ? Game was abandoned from the day of release. Hints of necron expansion - never happened. With this extremely polished game that I dont have, they promised the collectors (?) edition some sort of expansion. So, using CoH2 terms, 2 commanders perhaps some SP campaign/s or something (I was vs AI mostly) with so little in terms of content ? This really does look like the ship was abandoned long ago after release, not extreme enough profits apparently. Industry, society, economy in self-destruct mode.
Curious how you feel about the at bunkers? Do you think they could supplant a regular pak, or even a stug or p4 if placed near a command bunker? Awesome vid as always, thnx for the tips man!
At bunkers are great but shouldn't be counted on. If you get flanked your in trouble if that was your only solid piece of AT. Make sure to mine the flanks and have other AT there to cover.
Maybe Im not correct on this, but I think this is so much DoW 3 reenactment. That one was salvageable but they refused to fix it, I got it for 4 €. Denuvo sax though.
