After the Ecto-1 is finished, you need to do a hylight reel, detailing the journey that you and the car tuck together.

It's great that you are continuing to build Ecto-1! It's a pleasure to watch such a beautiful model being assembled. But in my country, deliveries of new parcels have not been resumed; we are stuck around 15th pack.

I didn't know until I looked it up but HVAC apparently stands for Heating, Ventilation (and) Air Condition/er/ing unit.

I finally got to building 2 nights ago on this again. Felt so good after sitting on the shelf for over a year!

just a quick suggestion, as you mentioned the weight of this being around 20kgs. ? it might be an idea to place the completed model, in the display position, on axle stands, some simple black wood blocks under the strong points of the chassis, to take the load off the wheels and springs, they do this on real vehicles too, see how tanks are supported in Bovington Tank Museum for example.

I am so jealous how close to being finished you are, and I hope when I get there I don't upset the sensitivity unit with my bad jokes...LOL

At 4:40, a minor mistake - there should be a gap between the first 2 pipes and the 3rd (see figure C in the magazine). I.e. 135M should be connected to the 2nd hole on both sides.

I still got to build mine from the mufflers I think that or tires that was where I was working on modding it. But I am finally going to get the next pack with the body parts that’s how far I got to go to finish mine

Hi Wayne...yup I'm continuing on from box 19 which i got last month which is stages 67-70 and haven't done anything with it yet and box 20 stages 71-74 will be here anytime now... But as you know I've done a complete custom job on mine with the engine... Plus getting all of the Mike Lane upgrades for it... But my main upgrades have come from Corrie over at "Scaled Modz"... The best custom upgrades I've ever seen... By far the best on the market... He has built the upgrades in "true" 1/8th scale... Whereas the regular equipment and the car... Is up and down with being truly 1/8th... But his equipment like the CB radio... scanner... Oscilloscope...(which also lights)...and other parts are at 1/8th scale... He also offers a custom powerpack that takes the place of the gas tank... And he's just underway doing the complete roof rack that you just completed as one custom upgrade..."plus"... It all works...lolol His stuff is terrific... He's at "Scaled Modz" Corrie is the best... I'm using all his upgrades and like i said also Mike Lane for like the carpet...seat backs...vents... license plates...door stickers...etc... By the time I get through with this build... I could of built a "real one"...lolol Just kidding but I figured i was only going to do this car once as with the other cars like the IXO Porsche 917... Senna's Lotus...and the X-Wing which on it i only upgraded the cockpit with more lights and details... But the Porsche 917 I've done a complete custom on it... And on Senna's Lotus so far just added a few missing details... I'll have to see how the engine looks when I get too it... I'm ordering the 63' Vette and it looks like i won't have to add much to it... But if any of your viewers would like to see the Porsche 917 so far I'm at "Robin Around Town" on U-tube... I'm just getting back into continuing with the builds now...as you know I've been dealing with the PTSD and the cancer and have been very very very tired all the time...but... Hey Wayne, those yellow air tanks are missing a couple of stickers. I mentioned this to Eaglemoss at Ghostbusters Fan Fest back in 2019. I have a high res recreation I offered to give them (which they turned down, saying they already had one and were going to add it, it just wasn’t on the prototype). Do you have an email I can drop it to?

Out of curiosity are any of the upgrade companies you know doing an acrylic cover for the Ecto base since fanhome isn’t doing one. Considering a acrylic cover was one of the bonuses those of us paying extra per issue for Eaglemoss were paying for a lot of us would probably have no problem paying them for 1
